The first two levels of the Battle God Trial test the trialists' understanding capabilities. The third level tests the trialists' mind, meant for Heart Refining.
Qin Xue, Wang Dadong, and Mu Jin, the three of them entered the illusion simultaneously, challenging their inner demons.
If they succeed, they pass the test; if they fail, they either become forever lost in the illusion or perish within it.
Any injuries or deaths within the illusionary realm will also manifest in reality.
Thus, the test of this third level is even more difficult than the first two levels by many folds.
The illusionary realm doesn't appear arbitrarily; it is closely linked to the trialists' minds. Most of Qin Xue's life's efforts were to escape the Vampire Clan, hence she entered a zombie world.
In a way, vampires and zombies are somewhat similar.
