In Ying Yue's view, the spaces currently nurtured by the World Tree are all misshapen and useless.
The reasons for this situation are many, but basically break down into two main points: First, chronic malnutrition.
This needs no further explanation. Just take humans for example, if malnourished, health can't be guaranteed, let alone pregnancy and childbirth.
Even if one insists on giving birth, the child born would be deformed!
Second, haphazard nurturing with far too many spaces!
Every single leaf nurtures a space.
How many spaces has the World Tree nurtured?
Tens of millions?
Or tens of billions?
Even Ying Yue, its master, isn't sure.
It's widely known, if a fruit tree bears too many fruits, the quality of the fruits will be poor, possibly causing significant damage to the tree's vital energy, preventing it from bearing fruits the next year.
The same logic applies.
