A golden light descended from the sky, and Sun Wukong struck a giant fish the size of a small hill with his Ruyi Golden-Hooped Rod, smashing its brains. Then, with a flip of the rod, he hit the fish's belly again, sending it flying towards the shore.
On the shore, Shen Lang caught the flying fish with a burst of Qi Force from his hand and laughed heartily:
"Not bad, not bad, tonight we can have grilled fish!"
This was the third day since Sun Wukong and Shen Lang entered the first level of Wuji Purgatory.
Wuji Purgatory, true to its reputation as a perilous place, attacked Sun Wukong and Shen Lang right as they entered.
Fortunately, the strength of these beasts wasn't very high, and Sun Wukong and Shen Lang easily dispatched them, though they were both startled.
Wuji Purgatory is an extremely vast space, divided into nine layers from the outer edge to the center, each with a distinct boundary.
