Among them, twelve were especially valued by Yuanshi Heavenly Venerable and thus became the twelve Golden Immortals!
The predecessor of Manjushri Bodhisattva was Manjushri of Wide Law Heavenly Venerable, who ranked among the Golden Immortals and entered the Buddhist Sect after the Era of Deification, becoming known as Manjushri Bodhisattva, whose mount was the Green Lion Demon.
And this Green Lion Demon also had an extraordinary origin, being the Horned Head Immortal of the Sect of Intercepting initially, only that the sect had fallen, and its former glory where thousands of immortals gathered had vanished into smoke and dust.
So, the Horned Head Immortal could only become the mount of Manjushri Bodhisattva.
