Having spent a week in the hospital, Gu Yuheng moved back to the Lin Family estate for convalescence.

Since both his arms were injured and he couldn't do much, Gu Yuheng found this past half-month rather leisurely.

The entertainment each day consisted mainly of drinking tea and playing chess with Grandpa Lin, sessions that lasted the entire day. At first, Chuxia would keep them company, but she couldn't keep it up for more than a couple of days before leaving Gu Yuheng to his own devices.

Initially, Chuxia thought that Gu Yuheng would get sick of it after a few days because, after all, as her grandfather aged, he grew fonder of engaging in childish antics like asking for a do-over in chess.

Being not so skilled at chess, he often resorted to asking for a replay. This saying couldn't be more fitting to describe her grandfather.
