Mary sat in the car and only after hearing his words did she lift her legs and step out. After getting out of the car, she put on her sunglasses and looked at Joe, who was standing outside, saying, "Let's go."
She stepped out of the car and adjusted her clothes and makeup.
Joe glanced at Mary, who was looking in the mirror, and then walked towards the elevator.
Mary, seeing him walk towards the elevator, closed her compact mirror immediately and followed. His indifferent demeanor made her desire to conquer him grow even stronger.
Frank had already received word of their return and was waiting for them to come up when they reached the downstairs lobby.
Joe reached the door and was just about to knock when he heard a voice from inside inviting them in. Joe turned and gently pushed the door open, letting the person behind him enter first.
Mary walked in and immediately saw the man. The corners of her mouth slightly curved into a smile.
