Heddy grew increasingly powerful, gaining enough prestige and status among the mortal realm.
Yet her ambitions also grew.
She began to feel dissatisfied with the current state of affairs: clearly, it was she who spread the gospel of the Gods, she who resolved the doubts of the believers, she who inherited the faith of the Goddess of Nature.
But in everyone's eyes, there was only one Goddess of Nature!
The vast majority of the Power of Faith from believers surged into the bodies of the Gods, while the Oracle could only obtain a very small portion.
But even this tiny portion brought Heddy considerable benefits.
Heddy's strength had increased greatly, yet she wasn't satisfied: from such a small portion of power alone, she had grown so much stronger; what if she could gain more Power of Faith?
Wouldn't she become even more formidable?
Yet the amount of Power of Faith an Oracle could obtain was always limited; only the divinities could truly reap the maximum benefits.
