"Xuewu, it's alright now." As everyone else left, Qin Long gently nudged Tang Xuewu, who was still on top of him.
"Ah Long..." Tang Xuewu's beautiful eyes were filled with confusion as she questioned him, "Why did they attack you? And why is Han Bing's foster father looking for trouble with you?"
Her questions momentarily stumped Qin Long.
"Have you been secretly keeping in contact with the underworld behind my back? What did I tell you?" Tang Xuewu demanded coldly, biting her red lip as she stared at the silent Qin Long.
Qin Long couldn't explain. After all, she had heard everything. If he blurted out some random excuse now, he would surely earn her disgust.
"I had such high hopes for you, I even... But you've gone too far! How dare you still lie to me?"
Qin Long sighed helplessly, but seeing him offer no explanation only made Tang Xuewu more furious.
