Chapter 350 - The True Electra

Third-person POV 

Seraphina didn't move. She didn't even breathe. She just stayed exactly as Electra had ordered, even though her legs were shaking and the blood running down her back had already soaked the waistband of her pants. Her body felt heavy, too heavy, and the world around her kept tilting every few seconds, but she forced herself to stay upright.

Then she felt it, Electra's palm pressing against the sigil on her back.

It lasted only a moment. Maybe three seconds, maybe less. Her hand was warm, but it wasn't painful, not like a burn, but more like a soft pressure that pushed through her skin and into something much deeper. Something that wasn't physical at all, and then, just like that...

The pain vanished.

Completely.

Seraphina gasped and turned so fast she almost tripped over her own feet. She stared at Electra with wide, disbelieving eyes, and her hands flew to her back, touching the place that had been bleeding only a heartbeat ago.

There was nothing.
