Chinjao… is actually dead!
That legendary great pirate, with a bounty over 500 million Berries, who had roamed the New World for years—was killed by that young Navy officer in just a few minutes of battle!
After witnessing Rorschach's terrifyingly powerful Armament Haki and his storm- and lightning-summoning abilities, Glayver had never really expected Chinjao to kill Rorschach.
But what Glayver hadn't expected either was that Chinjao—a legendary pirate famous since the old era, possessing an extraordinarily strong body and profound Haki, and even like Rorschach, wielding Conqueror's Haki—would fall in such a short time.
In this world, where any fierce fight could last for days and nights, the vitality and stamina of the strong were unimaginably robust.
To kill a powerful opponent in such a short time meant achieving an absolutely overwhelming advantage in strength.
Now, with Chinjao defeated in just a few minutes, it meant that this young Navy officer's overall strength far surpassed Chinjao's!
Even Glayver himself knew—there was no way he could have killed Chinjao in such a short time.
"No! I can't let that kid rendezvous with Jonathan. If they meet up, not only will I lose that enormous treasure underground, but I might even die here!"
Glayver's bloodshot eyes flashed. He gritted his teeth and forcibly took Jonathan's sword slash on his back, his dark green turtle shell absorbing the blow. He was sent flying, spinning through the air, smashing through multiple buildings and kicking up clouds of dust.
Jonathan froze for a moment. Then, he too turned to look toward the distant sea, his face showing an expression of shock.
"That kid Rorschach… actually took down Chinjao? That fast?"
But soon after, a joyful smile bloomed on his weathered face as he looked toward the swirling dust cloud where Glayver had fallen.
"Glayver, it's over for you. If you surrender now, I can still—wait… what are you drinking?"
Inside the dust cloud, Glayver's disguise as Andre had vanished, replaced by a burly, scar-faced man over two meters tall, with green hair.
At that moment, he was holding a glass bottle that looked oddly familiar to Jonathan. He unscrewed the cap and poured half the clear liquid inside straight into his mouth. Then he casually tossed the remaining half onto the ground.
As the half-bottle of transparent liquid slid down his throat, Glayver's true form began to change. Thick, bulging veins swelled across his face, twisting like wriggling earthworms.
His clothes were ripped apart by the rapidly swelling muscles beneath his skin.
Thick veins and bulging vessels formed a giant network that wrapped his entire body.
A terrifying aura surged from him, rising without limit.
The mere release of this aura caused the air and dust around his body to be forcibly pushed outward in all directions.
Glayver raised his head, revealing blood-red eyes. He grinned at the stunned Jonathan with a bloodthirsty smile.
"It's Elixir, Jonathan."
BOOM!
Before the words even faded, the ground within a hundred meters exploded as building after building collapsed into rubble.
The earth caved in. Amidst the swirling dust, a blurry blood-colored shadow flashed by—so fast that even Jonathan's Observation Haki couldn't track it.
Having drunk the Elixir that unlocked his life's potential, Glayver, his strength multiplied several times over, stomped and shattered the earth beneath him, transforming into a blood-colored meteor. In an instant, he crossed a hundred meters and threw a punch at the wide-eyed Jonathan.
CLANG!
Invisible advanced Armament Haki flowed over the fist covered in bulging veins. Jonathan hastily crossed his twin blades in front of him to block, but the force bent the swords into an alarming arc, slamming them toward his own chest.
BANG!
A powerful shockwave erupted in the air.
Jonathan's body was blasted backward like a cannonball, blood spilling from his mouth as he crashed through countless houses along the way, finally slamming heavily onto the main avenue of the royal capital, leaving a massive crater in the ground.
Inside the deep pit, Jonathan sat up with a sharp gasp, wincing as he looked toward the blood-red blur charging at him once again. Suddenly, he let out a chuckle and shook his head. Under Glayver's confused gaze, he let go of the long sword in his right hand.
"It's just Elixir, isn't it? You think this old man can't afford to drink that stuff?"
With a soft laugh, Jonathan reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a glass bottle coated in Armament Haki. Under Glayver's shocked and furious stare, he popped off the cork and tilted his head back, pouring the clear liquid entirely down his throat!
Jonathan tossed aside the now-empty bottle, gripped his long sword tightly, took a deep breath, and broke into a radiant smile.
"You only drank half a bottle—still hoping to make it back to the New World and live it up, right? Heh heh… well, sorry, but this old man can't let a traitor like you walk away. That's why I drank it all."
As he spoke, he licked his lips with a puzzled look.
Why… does this Elixir have no taste?
It tasted just like the plain boiled water they served guests in the guild hall.
There was no time to dwell on it—he had already swung his sword forward.
Because Glayver, after just a slight pause, once again turned into a streak of blood-red light, charging straight at him. The terrifying power in that fist distorted the very air along the avenue even before impact, blowing away countless stones and dust from the ground.
"Demon Aura One-Sword Style: Reincarnation Shift!"
Jonathan gripped his sword with both hands and unleashed a slash through the air.
A fierce, ghostly green demon head surged forth alongside a hundred-meter-long majestic slash wave, erupting from the blade and slashing directly toward the onrushing Glayver.
BOOM!
Under Jonathan's astonished gaze, Glayver's blood-red fist, wrapped in advanced Armament Haki, shattered the massive slash wave right in midair.
The blood-colored blur burst through the dissipating energy and landed a punch straight into Jonathan's abdomen.
"Puh!"
A mouthful of blood sprayed from Jonathan's mouth as his body was blasted backward by Glayver's punch, sent hurtling down the long, straight avenue of the royal capital.
Only then did the shock on Jonathan's face twist into unspeakable frustration—and anger.
His entire old face contorted as he glared toward the silver-white arc flashing across the sky and roared:
"You bastard kid! You swapped my Elixir with plain boiled water from the guild hall, didn't you?! No wonder it tasted like boiled water! Were you trying to get this old man killed by Glayver's punch? I thought you promised you wouldn't stop a man ready to die! You damn brat!"
"Making an old man in his eighties risk his life—you're going to disgrace the Navy's name."
A roaring wind swept across heaven and earth, forming invisible chains that caught Jonathan mid-flight, stopping his hurtling body.
Rorschach's massive figure suddenly plummeted down, like a meteor crashing to earth, slamming into the center of the avenue with a thunderous boom. He turned to face the blood-red blur charging straight at him.
From the cratered street, Rorschach's towering seven-meter-tall body slowly rose from a crouched stance.
As he stood up, brilliant arcs of electricity crackled endlessly from within his body, coursing and flashing across the sapphire-blue scales covering his skin.
A wild shockwave swept out in all directions, lifting his long silver hair behind him into the air.
Rorschach raised his right hand, clenched it into a fist, extended his thumb, and pressed the crackling tip heavily against his chest.
