Chapter : 20 : Who Are You :
Location : Near The Kirigakure Front :
" Hey Kakashi, we don't have much time . "
" Then stop shouting and keep up with the group idiot . "
" What did you say? "
" Guys please keep your voice down, we are about to enter the enemy territory . "
" But Rin ! he is the one started it . "
" Alright, that's enough for both of you let's focus on the mission now . "
At this moment through a dense forested area a group of four shinobis are going fast jumping from trees to trees towards their mission destination .
This was obviously none other than team Minato who were going to the next mission .
" Alright this should be enough distance . "
" So let's look at our plan one last time before we start the mission . "
After reaching near a cave area Minato stopped the group and took out a mission scroll and a map .
" About 20 minutes from here we will reach a base that is being of hidden cloud village forces. "
" According to our knowledge they are using that area as a temporary supply storage facility . "
Looking at the map the students could see that the supply point their teacher mentioned was situated at a very good hiding position .
Covered by big cliffs from three sides it gives the area natural protection and cover from enemy attacks and surveillance .
Moreover there were only two possible entrances to the camp .
As the hidden cloud could simply fortify those two area making it a trap for any attacking forces .
" However there is a critical fault in their defences . "
The critical fault was the lack of manpower .
The base was big and always busy .
Compared to the work to be done and area to be protected the amount of shinobies present were not sufficient .
While they had what it takes to hold on to the two entrances against normal attacks.
But if two simultaneous pint pointed attacks were to be conducted against them at the same time from both points then they would not be able to send reinforcement to each other .
Also along with the manpower shortage the fact was that according to hidden leaf village intelligence there were only 8 chunins and two jonins in the camp .
At first some people might think that , why would the hidden cloud village place an insufficient force for the protection of such a vital supply point .
The answer to that question is that they did not have any other choice.
Recently they had lost their leader, the the third raikage (A) , against an overpowering attack from the hidden stone village .
The the feat of fighting and holding against such an overwhelming number to allow his meant to retreat was significant .
However the fact was that they had lost their strongest shinobi .
And at this critical moment they could not please there Home village vulnerable .
So this forced them to temporarily pull back a huge number of their shinobis from other fronts, living areas like this understuffed .
" Alright now here is the plan . "
" We will divide into two groups . "
" I will go alone and strike from the East Gate . "
" This would attract their attention which would then let you to strike from the west gate . "
The plan was for Minato to strike at the East Gate .
And since he had already gotten himself quite the reputation by now seeing his presence would attract the attention of most of the forces in the camp .
And using this opportunity Kakashi , Obito and Rin will then strike at the lightly defended western gate .
Once they have entered the enemy camp they are to gather as much information as they can .
This includes scrolls and other things that might help them in knowing the location and future plans of their enemy.
By that time Minato would have joined them as well.
" For this mission Kakashi will be the one leading your team . "

As Kakashi accepted the mission from the side Obito gave him an annoying glance but did not say anything further.
Rin on the other hand gave a confident smile at his friend totally trusting in his abilities .
" Alright we will begin the mission in 10 minutes so prepare everything you need . "

" And make sure that we meet each other again . "

With that the group then finally divided into two parts going towards their objectives .
However when they would reach the area they would find a different situation than they had expected .
But even more importantly they would meet a certain someone from the past .
Location Change : Hidden Cloud Supply Base :
Time Change : 1 Hour Before Team Minato's Arrival :
" Ahh !! "
" Run !! "
" Take this you monster. "
" It's not working . "
One hour before the arrival of team Minato an entirely new situation had happened in the hidden cloud village supply base .
Unlike their usual condition at this moment the entire area was in devastation .
Camp was destroyed and multiple shinobies were lying motionless on the ground.
Flames were burning everywhere as screams and shouts were heard throughout the area .
In brief the situation was purely chaotic .
And at the centre of this entire storm were two people walking through the area like they were on a vacation .
One of them was wearing a fox mask with a katana in hand .
He was taking down genin and chunins left and right as if cutting through butter , and not allowing anyone of them to come close to the other person with him .
This person was wearing a demonic mask and armour that gave a fearful impression like a predator looking at its prey .
" Yuta it's already almost finished here . "
" So you should go and look out for any other potential intruder trying to interfere . "
" Sir ! What about the remaining two enemies ? "
" I will deal with them , so go and carry out the order . "
" As you wish sir . "
With that in a blur of motion Yuta left the area .
" Alright you two little insects come over here so that I can crush you both without wasting much time . "
David, now in his full Leng Luo persona, gave out a deep commanding voice .
" Haha ! You monster after you destroyed our base took down so many of our men you have the audacity to act like this. "
" Then come over here and we will be the last thing you see tonight . "
At this moment after he had finished giving out his challenge two shinobis would surround David .
Both of them, one man and another woman, looked stronger than any other shinobi in the camp and it was quite clear that they were the two commanding jonins .
And yet despite their fiery words neither of them dared there to come near the opponent .
Just a few moments ago everything was going normal when suddenly these two demons of death came to their doors .
No warnings, no hiding .
They just came in from the front area as if they were walking in a garden .
And yet the power they displayed was catastrophic .
Just one of them participated in the entire battle and that was enough to take down almost 28 genins and 8 chunins .
And mind you this was happening when they were just going around slowly .
If the enemy had wanted they could have ended the fight in less than half the time they have taken.
' But even more importantly this strange demonic mask man had yet did not take part in the battle at all . '
From the beginning to the end only the other enemy who had a fox mask and looked like a subordinate had taken part in the battle .
Not allowing the master to raise his hand .
' If just a subordinate can take down so many men then what can the master do? '
And this alone made them very nervous .
Obviously this was something that they could only feel in their hearts .
Because there was no way for them to retreat now .
They would have to face this enemy .

The man quickly took out a small sword and closed the distance .

Instead he just raised one of his hands .

In the very next moment both of them fell to the ground as an intense pressure of increased gravity held them flat on the ground .
" What the hell is this ? Is it some kind of an Earth release ninjutsu? "
" Or a blood line ability . "
Struggling to even breath properly both of the jounins couldn't help but look at their enemy in horror .
But no matter what they could not move their bodies at all .
The opponent on the other hand looked at them one last time before saying .
" Let's end this . "
Location : Inside The Main Hidden Cloud Camp :
" Well then let's look for the treasure map . "
After dealing with the last two enemies outside David finally came to the enemy main camp .
To be honest he could have just defeated the enemies even without using the power of the gravity gravity fruit.
But since Minato and his team would be arriving in this area soon it was better to quickly end this small battle .
" Alright, the treasure map should be somewhere near . "
And just as he thought, soon he found an old map that was eating dust while beiysandwiched between an old book .
" The shinobies are really holding such treasures and yet they don't know the value of it. "
Last time it was with the blue crystal which Yuta found hidden in a box in a hidden stone camp that was buried like garbage .
And this time it is the treasure map .
Obviously he understood it had nothing to do with the shinobies being foolish .
Because for them there is no way of knowing just how valuable these things really are .
" It's just that it seems these things are hidden in such remote and odd places where they will not find it immediately . "
After taking the map in his hand David felt the system notification sound in his head .
However before he could look into the matter he felt a presence coming towards the camp .
Looking at the direction David clinched his fist tight .
" So you are finally here, the yellow flash of the leaf . "

More importantly due to your continuous support and experience I have learnt a lot of mistakes that I did over the years in my work .
And this time in my new work I intend to rectify and to remove as many of those mistakes as I can .
This includes less authors note between the story which I have seen to have been creating a bad effect while reading the story . Obviously when it is important I will give some author's notes but the amount will be reduced a lot .
Another change that I will be doing is that I will be fixing the consistency of the updates and releasing new chapters which I have seen to be one of my greatest hurdles in my previous works especially in the first month .
Also there will be some other fixing so I hope you can understand what I am trying to say here .
And for these reasons I believe that by the start of the next month I will be able to release this new novel or it might take a little longer to write .
But whatever it takes I will give you more updates in the future and I hope you will support me just like you have done so in my previous works .
