Chapter 672 - Chapter 667: Xu Cuihua

The roar of demons echoed.

On the battlefield, the members of the Three Great Powers all stared west in terror.

It was... a horde of demons.

That direction should have been another prefecture, separated from them by a continuous mountain range.

As the roars grew louder, the white fox charged through the vast sky, surrounded by a myriad of demons.

A gigantic tortoise-like creature, radiating the aura of a Divinity Transformation expert, arrived riding the clouds.

Its shell was covered in vegetation, like an island, upon which stood numerous spirit beasts and Demon Kings.

At the head of the countless mosquitoes, the gigantic one flew forward, having already taken human form and dressed in a black robe.

In addition, there were two other Divinity Transformation auras.

One of the great demons wriggled ceaselessly as it floated in the air. When it landed, it had become a giant insect, a hundred meters tall. Its mouthparts were lined with jagged fangs, and it easily swallowed a Nascent Soul cultivator whole.

The other great demon was in the form of a woman. She did not reveal her original shape, but white bat wings grew from her back. She flew into the center of the fray and reached out, pulling a cultivator into her grasp with a powerful suction. Though her face was beautiful, she revealed two savage fangs, and the image of a black dog flickered for a moment.

The great tortoise had already smashed through the city gates, and the horde of demons danced in chaos!

The Mosquito Daoist's black eyes darted about, and he quickly found a Divinity Transformation cultivator who was attacking Li Chang'an.

In his perception, this was the strongest cultivator present. A hint of delight flashed across his face.

"I can smell you. You've lived for nine thousand years—no wonder you smell so sweet."

"Cuihua?!!"

"Mom!"

"Great-grandmother!"

Everyone in the Li family was overjoyed. The appearance of this army of demon cultivators was a wonderful and unexpected surprise!

This was because with the Azure Dynasty now in the throes of internal strife, the Wu Clan, the Demon Clan, the Sea Clan, and even some petty villains from other races all saw the dynasty as a prize for the taking.

As a result, the borders had become even more heavily guarded. This was especially true for the border with the Demon Clan; if it weren't in a state of emergency, Grand Tutor Lin Jiu would never have allowed so many demons to enter the Azure Dynasty's territory.

But they had come nonetheless!

The addition of over ten thousand demons to the battle allowed the Li family members to finally catch their breath.

"Husband!"

Even though she had broken through to the Divinity Transformation realm, when Xu Cuihua assumed her demon form, she still appeared as a six-tailed fox.

However, her demon body was now even larger, her fur was pure white, and a red marking adorned her fox face right between her brows. Invisible ripples spread out in all directions wherever she passed.

She walked upon the air, using the 'Shrink the Ground' technique, and in the blink of an eye, arrived in the sky above Li Dalong.

Husband and wife are truly connected at heart. Before Xu Cuihua had even fully arrived, Li Dalong leaped up and landed on her back in a single motion.

"Cuihua, why did you bring all these friends back with you?"

"I originally went to the border alone, but Senior Mosquito Daoist followed along with his horde of demons."

In a flash, Xu Cuihua carried Li Dalong as they charged toward a Divinity Transformation expert.

The Heaven-Piercing Coffin remained where it was, protecting Li Yaozu, who could only look up with a dark expression at his "eloping" parents.

Xu Cuihua still had a moment to spare. In a soft voice, she said, "The world is in chaos, and the situation for the Fox Clan is not good either. My Master thought it over and had them return with me. I also went to see Grand Tutor Lin Jiu..."

"Lin Jiu?"

Li Dalong asked casually. A white light bloomed from Xu Cuihua's mouth, and the fragrance of a spirit medicine assailed his nostrils.

Not caring what it was, Li Dalong swallowed it down.

In an instant, his eyes brightened, and the spiritual power he had nearly exhausted in the great battle began to recover.

The Seal of the Twin Serpents of Righteous Qi appeared once more as his hands transformed into serpents, slaying enemies from his wife's back.

"This is a Heavenly Treasure from the Fox Clan..."

Xu Cuihua replied as she fought, her eyes bright.

In truth, she had endless things to say, but in a situation like this, she could only explain things briefly.

"This was my Master's idea. For this journey, these seniors have sworn an oath. After this is over, they will no longer identify as part of the Demon Clan, nor will they remain enemies of the Imperial Dynasty."

Upon hearing this, Li Dalong understood. He immediately charged to another part of the battlefield with Xu Cuihua to support the other children of the family.

Li Yaozu, who had been "abandoned" by his parents, didn't just stand there stunned either.

With the arrival of their demon allies, the Three Great Powers were thrown into a momentary panic.

The joint attack from Li Dalong and Xu Cuihua just now had also opened an escape route for him.

He had already shattered a black-and-yellow formation node with a single sword strike and fought his way out of the crowd.

In just a moment, Li Yaozu took advantage of the chaos to change into the robes of a disciple from one of the Three Great powers.

"Ah Zu!"

At a sound from his sword box, Li Yaozu's expression changed.

He looked into the distance and saw a senior from Duskwild Prefecture pinned to the ground by a spear, with numerous cultivators charging at him with a killing formation.

Daring not to delay, he cried out, "Sister Fang, help me!"

Instantly, black mist swirled out from the sword box and poured into Li Yaozu's body. His nearly depleted spiritual power was once again replenished.

Li Yaozu unleashed his 'Lawless Sword.' A brilliant light bloomed in all directions.

By the time the other cultivators reacted, the trapped cultivator from Duskwild Prefecture had vanished without a trace, leaving only a bone-chilling Sword Qi behind.
