Lu Ye stared in astonishment; only now did he understand the danger hidden within the pink nebula. Such an attack wasn't something he could withstand, nor could Yaya likely resist it.
Yet the azure bird seemed oblivious, completely ignoring the fierce assault of numerous pink tendrils, allowing them to lash at its body. Blue halos flashed across its body, blocking the fierce assault, while its sharp claws kept slicing through the air.
It was unclear how long it was busy, but the pink nebula suddenly split open, and the azure bird pecked downward. Lu Ye couldn't see what it had pecked, only vaguely saw what looked like a huge pink worm being pecked into its mouth, swallowed with its head tilted upwards.
After the azure bird swallowed that pink worm-like thing, the once relentlessly attacking pink tendrils seemed to lose their energy, drooping sluggishly and merging back into the nebula.
