The five-year-old Little Prince held the wooden spinning top tightly, as it was his most treasured possession, and no one could take it away!
As he walked onto a bridge, even though it was broad daylight, a strong wind suddenly came from nowhere, blowing the Little Prince off balance and causing him to fall to the ground.
His knees and palms hurt, and he showed a pained expression, but then he was startled because the wooden spinning top had fallen out of his hand.
He quickly raised his eyes and saw the spinning top rolling toward the gap of the railing.
Feeling bad, he crawled and scrambled to chase after it, yet it was still a step too late, watching helplessly as the spinning top fell into the water.
Ignoring the pain in his body, he tiptoed to look below, but surprisingly, he couldn't see any trace of the spinning top.
This shouldn't have happened, as the spinning top was made of wood and should've floated up when it fell into the water.
