Little Turtle sighed, "You're right. We no longer deserve to be called warriors, but… there's really nothing we can do."

Three Fires muttered, "We have only a little over a thousand warriors left, and American troops are everywhere around us. Otherwise, we wouldn't have signed that treaty!"

Last year, after the American Army crushed the Northwest Indian Alliance, they forced the latter to sign the Greenville Treaty.

The treaty stipulated that the American Government would 'purchase' 250,000 square kilometers of land from six Indian Tribes for twenty thousand US Dollars, leaving only a small patch in northwest Ohio for the Indians to live. Meanwhile, trade from each tribe would be supervised by the American Government—which basically meant they must sell their goods at a low price to Americans.

Betina waved and declared loudly, "No, every Indian is born a warrior! And there is a generous lord willing to provide weapons, to help you take revenge on the Americans!"
