After waiting in line for a full day and night, Mack and Sean finally received their land purchase application forms—the number of people buying land was overwhelming, and at the efficiency of the Saint Domingo Government, the staff couldn't keep up, even working 14 hours a day.

However, once they submitted the application to purchase 110 acres of arable land, things started to go smoothly.

The Saint Domingo Ministry of Agriculture appointed a special person to assist them, and from the bank settlement to the land survey, the whole process took less than ten days to complete.

Then Mack Grant took a stroll around the docks and brought back over 80 robust Black workers, all of whom had previous experience working on plantations.

The wages required were only 2 francs a month plus three meals a day—and this was because the Saint Domingo Council had set a minimum wage, otherwise, they would be willing to work for free.
