At the current price, 400,000 pounds would buy 55,000 piculs of cane sugar.

The elderly man opposite calmly stroked his coffee cup and said, "Don't forget the rules, Baron Ledge. Here, you have to listen to me."

The young man beside him reached out and patted the discontented Baron Ledge: "Mr. Scott is right. There's already been panic buying in the English market recently.

"If our acquisitions are too aggressive, we might force the British Government to abandon their short positions."
