Kosciuszko looked to his old comrade: "Your Highness the Regent, I recommend that we immediately reinforce the line at Mozhili and Minsk. At least 70,000 troops should be deployed on the eastern front for defense.
"At the same time, conduct a thorough investigation in the Great Sejm of anyone who still harbors illusions about Russia. Their presence will only undermine the morale of our citizens!"
