"They could launch an attack on Baden at any time, so Baden must keep some defensive forces. This will further reduce the troops we can deploy to central Germany."

The commanders of the Anti-French Alliance must be acknowledged as smart, quickly adjusting their battle lines, avoiding prolonged engagements against French forces in Italy or Switzerland, thus playing with the timing.
