Chapter 1450 - Chapter 1356: The Art of Sales

During the Paris World Expo, the high-ranking officials of European countries had witnessed the terrifying carrying capacity of trains, thereby realizing the immense value of constructing railways.

However, they quickly learned from the French Ministry of Transportation that the railway construction plans in France, except for one connecting Strasbourg in Baden, were all domestic lines within France. The reason, of course, was the limited funds of the French Government.

Although the governments of various countries were disappointed, they were not surprised. After all, the cost of railways was calculated by kilometers, and even a simple line would require an astronomical investment of several thousand francs.

Some countries, like Switzerland, coveted the immense economic benefits of railways and decided to grit their teeth and raise funds themselves to invite the France Railway Company to build them.
