Annihilation ultimately couldn't withstand and fled the battlefield, yet she gained clues about her father from the Black Dragon Princess's mouth, deciding to reverse time and return to the past to find her biological father and ask the reasons why he abandoned her and her mother to leave alone.
Her act of activating her phoenix lineage to reverse time left a very obvious projection mark on the river of time, a mark which was captured by a certain research institution located in Xiangjiang in a distant timeline, whereupon this led to the development of the "Phoenix Point" related theory.
In the end, the research institution successfully created Phoenix Point using a collider, projecting it back to the past, but the hasty reckless actions led to the emergence of an Omega Rift located at the millennium timeline point.
Thus the origin story of Annihilation on the timeline has officially completed its loop.
In the Real World, altering someone's fate isn't this easy, of course.
