Victor grunted in acknowledgment.
Just as he was thinking, sudden urgent footsteps came from behind.
The secretary rushed directly to Casare, lips close to Casare's ear, speaking so low that a few words still drifted into Victor's ears: "Over in the United States... Hudson... evidence found..."
Casare nodded, quickly walked to Victor's side, bent down, and whispered, "Boss, the intelligence department just delivered the result about Hudson's death."
Victor's footsteps paused as he glanced at Old Zhou and the officials still waiting for him to speak. "Let's stop here for today."
