On the outskirts of Shenjing, in a warehouse located in the outer suburbs.
The warehouse itself was unremarkable, just an ordinary grain depot visited by surrounding farmers and airships transporting grain. However, beneath one of the warehouse rooms, there was an entirely different scene.
The entire underground space was enveloped in a misty moisture. At first glance, the space appeared very clean and tidy. Although it resembled a prison or a slaughterhouse, there was no smell of blood or human remains, only numerous figures curled up like infants, submerged in glass tanks, gently breathing.
Each of these bodies had striking features, and their curves were flawless—no matter the taste, one could find a perfect match among them. They reached a level of perfection unattainable by normal humans.
Yet, for those with discerning eyes, it was clear that these bodies were artificial creations.
