Johan's POV
"What game are you playing?" Hanju simply asks in front of the classroom.
"I'm not playing any games, I just want to ask you a few questions," I say honestly while looking around.
At my words, Hanju raises an eyebrow.
He seems confused, even intrigued by what's coming next.
"You must know God Dog's name, right?" I ask in a casual tone.
I know Johan is literally a legend in the Gangbuk district, but that doesn't mean all thugs know what he looks like.
"Yeah, it rings a bell," Hanju replies after a brief reflection.
I just smiled at his reaction.
He doesn't seem afraid of the name, but he didn't take it lightly either.
"I see. Then this will be simpler," I say as I approach him.
Hanju takes on a serious expression. He must have sensed that I had become hostile.
I don't hide my intention to fight, and any fighter can feel that my intentions aren't peaceful.
When I reach a certain distance, Hanju throws a series of quick punches at me.
It's definitely boxing, but not refined. Any competent boxer would understand that Hanju is self-taught.
"You're not bad, but you're still missing something," I say as I grab his shirt collar during his attacks.
I throw him slightly off balance before projecting him over my shoulder.
Yes, it's a well-known judo technique, a "nage-waza," or simply a throwing technique.
BAM The sound of a body hitting the ground resonates.
"Now, you must understand the difference in level between us, right?" I simply say while looking at Hanju on the ground.
He looks dazed, but he's still conscious.
I could have easily knocked him out with this technique if I had put more force into it or positioned his head to hit the ground first.
After all, judo isn't a cute sport.
"What do you want from me?" asks Hanju, still lying on the ground.
He seems to have understood our difference in strength now.
"I want West Gangbuk and the establishments under its control to be under my orders," I say, extending my hand to him.
Hanju doesn't take it, but he gets up on his own.
"You can be the boss now," he simply says before trying to leave.
"How about you become my number two?" I quickly propose.
He stops and turns towards me.
It looks like my sudden proposal caught him off guard.
"I might consider it, but if I follow you, you have to unify the districts. This condition is non-negotiable," he explains while pulling out a cigarette from his pocket.
"It's obvious that I want to reclaim my territory," I replied with a smile.
My words surprise him once he understands their implication.
"I didn't fully introduce myself, Hanju Gu. I'm Johan Seong, better known as God Dog."
I'm not really curious to see his reaction.
I leave after these words.
Hanju's character isn't that of a guy who lets himself be impressed by someone's reputation or title.
That's also why I wanted to face him without the influence of my nickname.
"Now, he must understand that taking control of Gangbuk is just a matter of time," I whispered as I headed towards the southern part of the district.
I want to unify the south today, but unlike the old Johan, I won't force people to follow me.
I'll just beat them and offer them to become my subordinates.
And if they refuse, then I'll address their subordinates.
I can't manage Gangbuk alone, and I don't plan to entrust all the responsibility to someone else either, to avoid another fiasco like K-House.
I ended up taking the bus.
I didn't want to waste my energy, and it allowed me to arrive more quickly at South Gangbuk High School.
"Hey guys, I'm looking for Seok Kang," I say, arriving directly on the spot.
"Who are you?" asks a slightly overweight student.
"Johan Seong. But I'm also known as God Dog," I declared slowly while observing their faces.
As soon as I mention this nickname, I see fear appear in their eyes.
My reputation is really useful in Gangbuk.
"I'll let the boss know about your arrival. Wait here... please," quickly explains the smaller student next to him before rushing off at full speed.
Some might think their reaction is excessive.
Yet, it's the best thing to do.
Why?
It's simple: if I were the real Johan, their crew would have been done for today because of the impoliteness of one of them.
That's how awful the old Johan's personality was.
Moreover, the use of a nickname by an idiot is extremely risky.
For example: Jiho, who is a former student of J High School.
He dared to use Jame Lee's name to create a crew, and on top of that with that loser from Ansan.
This story shows that the crew world in Lookism has its own rules, as Jame Lee immediately left his temporary retirement to handle the situation.
Among these rules, there are some practical ones, like the law after a crew's defeat by another.
Two options are available to the loser: leave the district or submit to the winner.
That's why I'm not worried about the future decision of my opponents during the reclaiming campaign.
"Follow me," declares the overweight student after receiving a message.
"I see you've gathered a nice little group," I say while observing the appearance of all the South Gangbuk executives.
"It's an honor to see a legend among us," declares Seok Kang.
Behind him, a young man with no expression and an overweight boy covered in tattoos accompany him.
"Thanks for the compliment, but unfortunately I'm not here for a friendly chat," I explained as I sat down in front of him.
"You want to reunify Gangbuk, right?" he asks, frowning.
"Exactly. I want your territory," I say bluntly.
"That's not possible..." Before he could continue, I slowly stand up and let my fighting intention emanate.
It's a trick I learned to do in Johan's body.
A rather unique phenomenon that I'm sure I didn't experience in my previous life.
"Seok Kang, do you think I've weakened after Jin Jang's betrayal?" I asked as I straightened up.
He wanted to speak, but I ignored him and continued.
"From now on, I'll be managing South Gangbuk. Those who have a problem with that can come test me." These words were the trigger.
A woman with a neutral face charged at me with a wooden katana.
I think I remember her—she stood out to me in the Questism story.
Her name is Jihyeon Lee.

I'll need a weapons expert in my future crew.
So, I had to avoid breaking her unintentionally.
I dodged her attacks with minimal movements and grabbed her wrist to twist it slightly.
I saw her grimace in pain, but that didn't stop me.
I threw her off balance before projecting her towards the gray-haired guy who was running towards me.
"I see, South Gangbuk doesn't plan to submit," I said while observing the people around me.
My arrival at East Gangbuk will be slightly delayed, but the good news is that I'll be able to let loose.
"All come at once, I want to save time," I say while cracking my joints.
I could feel the adrenaline and my blood circulating faster. It was like a movie scene, and it really excited me.
A guy tried to attack me from behind.
He probably thought I hadn't seen him.
Unfortunately for him, not only had I spotted him, but I had no intention of holding back.
I grabbed him by the shoulder and threw him towards the overweight student who was giving orders in the background.
He must have been the brain of the group.
What followed was pure unleashing.
I knocked out all those I deemed too weak with a single punch to the stomach.
The floor was covered with vomit, which began to create a deterrent psychological effect.
I also knocked out Jihyeon Lee and the gray-haired guy, who vaguely reminded me of someone.
I'll probably remember him after this conflict.
He made a good impression on me.
He attacked me intelligently and precisely.
He also had good strength.
Unfortunately for him, the gap between us was just too big.
"Seok Kang, are you still waiting for me to get tired?" I calmly asked while staring at him.
He was the only one still standing.
I had knocked out all his executives with a single blow, and those who were still conscious were throwing up their breakfast.
"There's no doubt, you really are God Dog," he says, frowning.
He still had doubts in his little skull?
"It's a bit late to accept it now," I replied as I moved towards him.
Seok Kang, a character from the Questism manhwa.
(Image)
He's an incredibly simple individual despite the intellectual image he displays in public.
I came to recruit him because of his potential, but also for his business dealings.
I have enough money to buy myself a personal apartment, but I'll really be broke afterward.
So I urgently need money!!
I could use my knowledge to invest, but the results will take time to come.
That's why I need him.
Even if the money he earns from his dealings is dirty, it can be laundered with a few tricks like becoming a manhwa creator, web novel author, or influencer.
There are several professions based on "donations" that I can use to launder Seok Kang's dirty money.
I just need him to cooperate with me now.
