The morning for today was Elara's own. Nothing was scheduled before the afternoon, and she had spent it in the library with the reading no one had assigned her, so Selenne's lesson was the first lecture of her day.
Yesterday, after the register, Elara had spent the rest of Clubs Day looking for a second name to put beside the first. She went back along the canopies reading each posted hour against her timetable, and each time the hour already belonged to something else.
The rune-research table wanted an evening the library lessons held.
She did consider moving the lessons, to a morning or the hour after the midday meal, and had the request half-composed for Lucavion before she looked at what she would be rearranging the week for: a table where a student had spent a full hour explaining why her formation would not explode this time. Elara let the request go unsent and felt no loss at all.
The next society met in the slot she had set aside for the week's reading.
