The old woman immediately tried to smooth things over: "Don't listen to their nonsense. Usually, we're frugal with just vegetables and radishes. Today, the family is reunited, we should be happy and enjoy a good meal together."
As she spoke, the old woman turned her head and shouted loudly, "Waiter, bring a bottle of wine."
"Alright! Coming up!"
The waiter approached with a beaming smile, having completely changed his attitude from before.
"Dear guest, this is the best wine in our tavern." He placed a jar of wine on the table, unsealed it, and poured a bowl for each person, wisely skipping the only little kid.
"Mother, what's that? I want to try it too." The little kid, eyes wide with curiosity, watched the adults having some while he had none, his curiosity piqued.
The woman said, "Son, you're still young; you can't drink this. When you grow up, Mother will buy you some."
