"You're really not Luo Xiao anymore," Tong Ran's eyes deepened with contempt, all her hopes shattered completely. She turned and walked toward the door, "I must have been blind."
"Xiao Ran!" Luo Xiao reached out and grabbed her wrist, the blood on the back of his hand not yet dried. He stared longingly at her slender back, "Don't you remember our past at all? All those things you said back then..."
"Do you remember the things you said?" Tong Ran forcefully shook off his hand, her back to him, her shoulders trembling with scorn, "You said you would protect me for a lifetime, never let me get hurt, make me happy and smile every day, never worry about anything because you'd solve everything for me, shield me from all harm..."
She laughed as she spoke, cold and mocking. Tong Ran turned her head to look at him, "Luo Xiao, do you remember all that?"
