No one came up for the whole afternoon. It seemed there was no one guarding here, because people locked in the glass room couldn't escape, so there was no need to arrange guards.

Tong Ran had been locked inside, and every meal was delivered through a special small opening, which appeared to be an automatic heating area at the side.

She only glanced at it and didn't take a bite.

Until the next night, Tong Ran was so hungry her head was spinning, and her legs were numb from sitting. She reached out to support the glass window and stood up.

She walked to the tray, glanced at it, and curled her lips in a smile. Sure enough, the food was automatically heated and delivered at regular intervals through that small opening, which was likely fully automated.

Tong Ran picked up the tray, raised her hand, and knocked at the small opening, but no matter how hard she knocked, she couldn't open it.
