Chapter 18 - Halloween and A Devious Plan

I'm sorry it took so long for me to write something. Over the past few weeks, I had exams, a trip, and when my exams finally finished, I had six different assignments to complete, which I finally finished today. I also sacrificed many study hours to play Silksong, but that doesn't matter. Hope you enjoy the chapter. :)

Another year passed quickly. Ayaka passed her exams with flying colors and strengthened her relationship with Momo. They talked a lot about their goals and set it in stone that they would go to college together. They also started studying for the UA written exam, which will take place in mid-November.

Currently, it was October 31st, and the couple had a Halloween party to attend. It was one of the biggest they'd ever seen, planned by a friend of one of Momo's very wealthy friends. It was a very private gathering; everyone needed to be individually invited, and if you wanted to bring someone, they had to be vetted first.

The intended audience for this event was adults since the party involved alcohol and was generally not a suitable environment for minors. However, this only fueled the rebellious spirits of Ayaka and Momo, who both received invites.

Momo didn't know this, but Ayaka had mischievous intentions for her girlfriend that day. They had talked about having sex over the past year but never followed through. Not to make Ayaka seem like a pervert, but she really wanted to do it.

She chose today because of Halloween costumes. Ayaka always thought the vibe of a Halloween party, combined with costumes, created the perfect setting for what she wanted. With that in mind, she made her decision.

Her plan was to go to the party, have fun, and enjoy it like usual. During the event, she would subtly hint and use her body language, hoping her message would get through to Momo.

This year, Momo was the one who picked the costumes. Refusing to take Ayaka's suggestions, she chose something that would make them look like a couple. Ayaka was dressed as Leon from Resident Evil, and Momo as Ada Wong.

It was a bit confusing why she had to be the male, but that was the price for seeing Momo in a tight dress.

Inside Momo's room, they changed into their costumes, did their makeup, took pictures together, and posted them.

The party was scheduled to start at 9pm and didn't have an official end time, giving everyone plenty of time to enjoy. So, they decided not to arrive exactly at 9.

They stepped outside and walked around the city, seeing hundreds of people in costumes having fun. Halloween in Japan is especially popular among young people.

While walking, they crossed paths with another couple wearing matching costumes. When Ayaka saw theirs, she couldn't help but be annoyed.

"Look at how awesome those Adventure Time costumes are! I told you we should've dressed as them."

"No, you said you wanted to dress as Jake and Finn. Babe, we're not going to a Halloween party with you dressed as a yellow dog with a mustache," Momo replied quickly, not entertaining another complaint from Ayaka.

With her head tilted, she answered, "You win. But next year, we're definitely going as Princess Bubblegum and Marceline. I call Princess Bubblegum!"

Her girlfriend gasped as if offended, "Why do I have to be Marceline?! You're a much better fit for her!"

"What? I'm basically a walking Princess Bubblegum. The only difference is, my hair isn't pink, and I'm not made of Bubblegum. Plus, you have a strong emo girl vibe, unlike my pristine princess vibe."

"You take that back! I've been called a Princess by many people in my life."

"Let's leave that for future Momo and Ayaka to decide. Maybe we'll change our minds then. Want to grab something to eat? I'm starving, and I don't want to be that person who immediately pounces on the food at a party," Ayaka asked as they passed a cozy new cafe, which had a short line—definitely a wasted opportunity not to eat there.

"I could eat... but you know even if we eat here, as soon as anything edible appears at the party, you'll be snacking on that."

Ayaka was at a loss for a response. The cafe was simple, with yellow lighting, wooden floors, some plants and flowers decorating it, and comfortable chairs with smooth wooden armrests. It had a cozy vibe, perfect for a quick meal or a date.

Since there would be food at the party, Ayaka ordered just a sandwich and coffee so she wouldn't get sleepy later. Momo ordered the same. Over their year together, she trusted Ayaka's food choices—she'd never ordered a bad dish on a date.

They chose a "Greek Grilled Cheese" with feta, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, Kalamata olives, and freshly torn dill.

The menu also had a surprising variety of sandwiches, desserts, and hot drinks, promising more visits to try new things.

When their food arrived, Ayaka eagerly tore into her sandwich, while Momo took her time, taking pictures.

"Good lord, slow down," Ayaka said, mouth full, prompting Momo to snap a picture of her expression. "I'll use this as my screensaver."

"You're really changing our ring picture with that?" Momo asked.

"I'll just change it—if I tweak the settings, my wallpapers can rotate."

Ayaka stuck her tongue out, enjoying a taste of her own medicine. She had once taken an embarrassing picture of Momo eating a giant burger drenched in sauce, half her face smeared—still her screensaver to this day.

Some might judge her for not using the picture of their hands with their rings, but that had been her wallpaper for eight months. She knew that sharing that silly yet intimate photo would be hilarious.

Twenty minutes later, their plates and drinks were finished. They paid the bill and headed to the party.

By the time they arrived, it was 9:30—a good time to join in. Only about fifty guests were there, a small portion of those invited.

The party was held at a mansion far from the city, accommodating loud music and dancing. The main house served food and alcohol, with waiters bringing drinks outside as well.

Alcohol was often called the devil's beverage. Ayaka had never tried it—and for good reasons. She was only seventeen, and Japan's drinking age was 20; plus, she was dedicated to her physical health and muscle growth. But tonight, with free alcohol available and low risk of punishment, her teenage curiosity got the better of her.

Despite her good sense, Momo followed Ayaka's lead because she was curious about the taste and feeling of alcohol too.

They approached the bartender and chose drinks from the menu. Ayaka ordered a Moscow Mule, and Momo a Long Island Iced Tea.

"Hahhh, this burns, but it feels oddly nice," Ayaka said after taking another sip. "There are so many things that burn in this drink, but it's great."

Momo immediately coughed, "Why don't they tell you how much it burns?"

"Isn't it obvious?"

She took a larger sip, "How can people drink this?" The drink was almost gone after a few sips, betraying her initial distaste.

"Man, this is awesome," they agreed, quickly downing three more drinks before the bartender advised them to stop.

The party continued for hours with music, dancing, and drinks. When they grew tired, they found a quiet corner inside the house to rest.

Ayaka felt dizzy at times, but quickly recovered. She felt she could say anything without shame and visited the bathroom more often than she liked. It was strange, but she wasn't sure if she was drunk.

Her girlfriend sat on a chair, drinking water to ease the alcohol effects. Ayaka approached her, stroked her neck, hugged her, and kissed the top of her head.

"You know I love you, right? Like, the biggest love a person can have."

"Where's this coming from? I love you too," Momo replied, pulling her down to another chair and leaning on her shoulder. "How are you feeling?"

Ayaka placed her hands on Momo's waist and said softly, "I'm feeling hot, you know." She kissed her neck and looked into her eyes, "I stopped drinking a while ago. I'm feeling perfect now. I can think clearly…"

She continued, kissing and sensually touching Momo, whispering in her ear, "Let's go to my house. I'm sick of the party. My dad isn't home tonight; he'll only be back in a couple of days."

Realizing her intentions, Momo was startled. She caught her breath, trying to calm her racing heart. "Ayaka, do you want to do it?"

"Yeah, I want you more than anything right now."

That night, Momo wished her quirk was teleportation instead of creation.

They hurriedly left the party, ordered an Uber since no train stations were nearby, and after twenty minutes, finally arrived at Ayaka's house. Their hearts pounded with excitement and anticipation, unsure of what this night might bring…
