Engineers moved with quiet urgency among racks of crystalline hardware; light from the Aetherite cores pulsed a clean, surgical blue, throwing geometric reflections across glass and steel. Power lines thrummed softly under the floor. The air smelled faintly of ozone and hot metal—new infrastructure being born.
