But then it turned out both of you were asleep in bed like pigs if it wasn't for me knocking on the door."
"Hey, you're the one who told us to sleep until tomorrow morning... Besides, your story sounds like you're dreaming," Mary argued.
"I wasn't dreaming—"
Just before Alex could finish talking, someone suddenly knocked on the door from the outside.
"Don't check it," Alex whispered as he pulled Sophia by the arm, preventing her from getting out of bed.
After waiting for a minute, the knocking sound reappeared again and again, sounding more urgent every time.
Yet the person outside didn't talk at all, seemingly only knocking on the door on repeat with no signs of turning the doorknob.
"I told you I wasn't tripping."
