"Mom, am going now" I said about to leave the house for work.
"Lauren wait, I'll drive you there" I heard Mom say.
"Mom it's okay, Max is taking me"
"Fine, please be safe" Mom said then hugged me.
"By the way where is your sister"
"She left for work early" I said then left the house and saw Max waiting near his car.
"Max!" I called then walked down to where he parked.
"Finally, you're here"
He said then hugged me.
"Yes I'm here, sorry about the delay"
"No problem, get in" Immediately I entered, he started the engine and drove off.
"By the way, where is your sister, I haven't been seeing her around for a while now"? Max asked as He kept his eyes on the road.
"She has been a little busy these days with work" I said as I arranged my files.
"I hope she isn't over working herself" Max enquired more sounding very worried about mu sister which hurt me a little, but then why should I be, I mean he is just worried nothing more, right?.
"Hey, what about me?"
"Don't be silly Lauren, I know you're doing fine, Max bluntly said.
"Hey, that hurts" I said feeling a little bad.
"Lauren, are you being serious right now?"

"Actually, I don't know what to say to you Lauren"

"We're here, your work place" Before He could say anything else I got out the car.
