Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 - Diagon alley debut

Summary:Harry's Diagon Alley Debut

(Hogwarts)

Albus Dumbledore sat in his office, with a solemn expression on his face. Today was a historical day for the Wizarding World as the Boy Who Lived would have his name revealed on the Hogwarts Ledger so he could receive his Hogwarts letter and while most people were excited for that day, Albus Dumbledore was not. "Where did it all go wrong Fawkes." Dumbledore sighed as he looked at his Phoenix familiar whose solemn trill did nothing to ease his frustration as he recalled the events that led to his current issue.

When he first heard the Prophecy, he immediately moved to protect the Potter's who were the family that he suspected were the ones involved. When they chose Peter Pettigrew to become the Secret Keeper he panicked because he knew that the young man was a spy for Voldemort thanks to his own double agent and that it wasn't a matter of if the Potter's would fall but when.

Over a year passed without issue and Dumbledore would admit he hoped that the Dark Lord had dismissed it, but it was not to be. It was Halloween night and Dumbledore returned from dinner when he heard the monitoring charms that were set up around the Potter house activate suggesting they were in mortal peril. He could've very easily appeared and helped the Potter's fight off their attackers, but they were starting go against his teachings and actually kill the Death Eater's instead of trying to give them a second chance and he wouldn't have that. Waiting until it was clear that Lily and James were dead, he used Fawkes to move over to Hagrid's hut and have the half-giant take Harry while ordering Sirius to go after Peter, the one who was responsible for this. He had to hope that Sirius was reckless because with him out of the way, Dumbledore could use his influence to take control of the boy's life. Much to his joy, Hagrid came back with Harry and with Sirius hunting Peter, everything was in place.

Three days passed with no news and Dumbledore assumed that Peter had somehow fled the country with Sirius not far behind so he made his way over to Gringotts and told Ragnok that he was going to seal the will using his power as Chief warlock knowing that he had a week under normal circumstances before the will would be read. Much to his horror, King Ragnok revealed that the will had been executed and Sirius was in hiding alongside Harry. He tried to ask where they were staying just to be told that Sirius and Harry were hidden under the Fidelius Charm and that he couldn't tell him who the Secret Keeper was for their safety.

He was brought from his musing by his door opening and his long-time deputy walking in, "Albus what'" Minerva McGonagall frowned as he handed him an envelope. One look at the envelope and Dumbledore barely resisted the urge to burn the envelope out of fury.

Harry James Potter

Box number 731 Gringotts Bank

The letter in question was Harry's Hogwarts letter and it should have given him a location but instead it gave him a Gringotts box, Then again, that probably wasn't a bad thing since his deputy assumed Harry was at the Dursley's all these years, "It would seem that the Dursley's have told Harry of his heritage. Nothing to worry about." Dumbledore lied smoothly.

McGonagall before leaving with a solemn expression on her face, "Oh Albus." Minerva sighed wondering what happened to her long-time mentor. McGonagall knew the actual truth of that night having received an envelope from Gringotts containing a fairly decent number of Galleons along with some notes that James made on the Animagus transformation that would make it easier for students who attempt it in the future. It pained her to know what Dumbledore tried to do but calling him out would be foolish since she was a trusted advisor and having somebody to watch Harry's back would be nice given that there was no way Albus would give up.

Back in the office, the headmaster slumped because he had no idea what type of parent Sirius would be, and what type of wizard Harry would be as a result of being raised by him. He could only hope that Sirius's time with the Potters made him embrace the light and teach young Harry to do the same.

(Potter Mansion)

Harry's day was starting as the last ten had, and that was with his cousin bouncing on his cock, "Nym, I'm going to cum." Harry roared as he held his cousin by the hips as she rode him to orgasm once again. Harry woke up on the day of his 13th birthday to his cousin sucking his cock and she promptly took his virginity before draining his balls of all their cum. Truthfully she'd wanted to do it for some time but decided to wait until he was 13 because he was finally 'wizarding age'.

"I'm close Harry. Fill me up with this massive cock of yours." Tonks moaned happily as his 10-inch cock pummeled her depths. Her hair was its usual pink and down to her shoulders with her chest a solid D cup along with a thin waist and long legs.

"Alright Tonks. Here. We. GO!" Harry roared as he came inside her again enjoying their latest romp as Tonks slumped onto his body putting her head just below his. Despite being 6 years older Tonks and Harry were both around 5 foot 6 so they were able to perfectly relax on each other after a nice fuck.

"So. Did you tell your parents before apparating over this time." Harry teased recalling an incident from 5 days ago. Tonks decide to apparate over instead of the usual Floo powder to visit because it was far easier than grabbing Floo powder each time and helped her work on her clumsiness, a trait she'd need to fix before becoming an auror. Admittedly, the first time was a bit awkward since she appeared in the middle of Lily and James's room and promptly tripped before falling onto James's legs waking him up. She still completed her routine, but it was a bit embarrassing.

"At this point, they know what to expect and since they both have to leave for work, it makes things easier for all parties.' Tonks smiled.

"True" Harry smiled before reaching for her shapely rear and slapping it causing a very nice bounce.

"Perv" Tonks smiled as she bent down to snog him one more time. She smirked when she saw little Harry wake up again but before she could go for another round, Harry's house elf Gano appeared in the room.

"Master Harry I hate to interrupt your time with the Princess but it's time for breakfast." His house elf Ganondorf or Gano smiled.

"Thank you Gano." Harry smiled.

Tonks reluctantly separated from Harry, and they got dressed for the day. While the Potters had quite a few elves, Harry had taken a shine to a gray one and called him Ganondorf after the character in the legend of Zelda video games. It was an awkward subject for his parents since they knew Gano was the antagonist, but Harry didn't care for Link at all. That reminder caused a question to pop into her head "Hey Harry, how come you haven't asked me to transform into Princess Zelda when we have our fun." Tonks mused.

"Because then I'd be thinking about having to save you all the time." Harry teased.

"Good point. I could be a bounty hunter like Samus." Tonks smirked referring to the Metroid character.

"Nope. You're still a bit too clumsy to be a badass bounty hunter like her." Harry smirked.

"Prat." Tonks blushed. She was still a bit clumsy, but she had improved over the past week plus.

"Damn straight. Now let's get some breakfast and get ready because my letter should be coming today." Harry said with a wry smile.

"Wait a minute. Won't Dumbledore know where you live once the ledger reveals your name." Tonks frowned. The history between the Potter's and Dumbledore was a sour subject and she was pretty sure the only reason Harry was going to Hogwarts was because of their relationship and his desire to be her classmate for at least one year. Then again Tonks's dream was to be an auror like James and Sirius were. If she wanted to do anything else, she would've likely gone to another school Dumbledore be damned. Then again, the only schools that were on Hogwarts's level were Beauxbaton's and Durmstrang and both were out for very different reasons. Durmstrang had a history of dark magic and was run by ex-Death Eater Igor Karkaroff who Sirius and James fought against multiple times during the war. Beauxbaton's was a wonderful campus, but Tonk's loathed what she felt was the prissy nature of the school. That meant Hogwarts was the way to go.

"Nope. Gringotts set up a Gringotts box for me years ago and that's where all my letters and fan mail go. Ganon grabs it also so there's no need for me to expose myself." Harry smiled.

"Smart." Tonks smiled.

"Thanks. Now let's get going Nympha. Today starts the beginning of the rest of my life." Harry said happily as they made their way downstairs to eat.

(Scene Skip)

The moment had finally arrived and Gano popped into the dining room with Harry's Hogwarts letter in hand, "Here you are Master harry." Gano smiled.

"Thanks Gano." Harry smiled as he took at the letter that would start his journey to Hogwarts. Off to the side his parents and Sirius had slightly uncomfortable expressions on their faces. On one hand, they were glad that their son's journey had begun. On the other hand, the idea of him spending all that time around Dumbledore was concerning. The Potter's never forgave Dumbledore for what he tried to do, and that animosity extended to Sirius and the Tonks family.

Dear Mr. Potter,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on the first of September, and we await your owl by no later than July 31st

Yours sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall

The list of books and materials was on the next page and Harry read over them glad that his journey had begun.

"Well now that I have my letter, I have a very interesting suggestion for our upcoming trip." Harry smiled. Once it was acknowledged that Harry would attend Hogwarts, Lily and James decided to cause a bit of havoc for Dumbledore by revealing themselves during the trip to grab books.

Sirius James and Lily looked in curiously, "What are you thinking son?" Lily wondered.

"I think the best thing for us to do would be to have Sirius take me to get my supplies, and for you guys to come with me the day I leave for school." Harry replied.

"Tell me what you're thinking Harry." Lily frowned. Harry took everything that his parents said like fish to water and developed a rather devious mind that his father and Sirius envied. If he had an idea, she was curious what it was.

Harry smiled, "The world thinks that you guys are dead right?" Harry replied.

"Yes and that was going to change when we walked into Diagon with you." Lily said flatly. They used glamours to take care of shopping and things like that over the past twelve years. With very few people knowing the truth and those who did being sworn to secrecy.

Harry gave a rather terrifying grin, "Diagon Alley will be utter chaos to begin with and that will only intensify for people who want to meet me and find out what I've done after all this time." Harry replied.

"That's why we wanted to be there. Because it'll cause a massive stir." James reminded him.

"True but then we won't be able to get anything done because everybody will be trying to talk to me, and we have a month of people asking for interviews and the like."

"I can see how that would ruin the fun." Lily admitted.

"Now picture this. It's the first day of school for the Boy Who Lived, and all the reporters are waiting in King's Cross trying to get a word from the Boy Who Lived before he gets on the train. Instead, all the reporters are stunned to see Lily and James Potter alive and before they know it I'm safe and sound on the train and you guys are back in hiding."

"We've created a monster." James shuddered because Harry was spot on. Since they'd go back into hiding long before anybody could react, questions will be asked about not only them but everything behind that day. How did nobody figure out that they were alive, and just as importantly what caused them to go into hiding. Harry will have already been sorted and as Dumbledore tries to figure out what to do, he'll see the news and lose his mind.

"You're right but just one thing pup. Dumbledore will have questions and he'll want answers." Sirius frowned.

"That's fine because all I need to do is give him a paper saying that I can only talk with my solicitor there" Harry smiled.

Sirius shuddered because Harry seemed to have it all figured out, "How much time have you devoted to this."

"The right amount." Harry smiled.

Lily James and Sirius looked at each other, "We'll get back to you later pup.." Lily said calmly. Harry was absolutely right that this would be insanity, but if it was going to work, they needed to make sure of a few things first.

(Scene Skip)

It was time for Harry's Diagon Alley debut and he was dressed in a simple black leather jacket with a red t-shirt and black jeans with some red and black shoes. None of his rings were visible but they were on, and Harry would choose what to do with them later. "You ready pup" Sirius smiled in his usual long jacket with black collared shirt and slacks with some black loafers. The pair were currently in the living room as they prepared to leave.

"Yep." Harry smiled.

"Good. I'll have to take you the fun way to Diagon another time but for today we'll do things the easy way" Sirius smiled as they grabbed the Floo. "Diagon Alley" Sirius shouted and the Floo lit up and they walked through.

Arriving at the special Floo for Diagon Alley, Harry and Sirius walked out a side area before walking into the center square, "Here we are." Harry smiled as he got his first true look at the main shopping hub for the wizarding world. There were plenty of people walking around and a nice mix of people who seemed to know what they were doing and those who were a bit confused.

"Yep. First stop is Malkins to get your robes and since that takes some time, I'll leave you there and grab most of your supplies. Once that's over, we'll get your wand and pet" Sirius smiled. This would expose Harry to a limited number of people and allow them to get things done.

"Sure" Harry replied. The pair walked around Diagon Alley but as they did Sirius was pleasantly surprised that nobody said anything to them. Then he realized what was going on and looked towards his charge.

"Hey pup."

"Yeah."

"When did you cast a Notice-Me-Not Charm on us." Sirius wondered. There's no way they could've gone as long as they did without anybody noticing him. Both of them were very distinct after all.

"Just after you got settled." Harry replied.

"Okay. How about you get rid of that. We're almost at Malkins." Sirius smiled. Harry really did think of everything.

"Fine" Harry smirked before snapping his fingers. The moment they were visible again Harry could hear the murmurs from the crowd.

"My god is that."

"It's Harry Potter."

"The Boy Who lived!"

All around the pair people were going crazy but just before people moved towards them, Harry walked into Madam Malkins.

"Safe" Harry smiled.

Sirius smirked, "What happened to showing off a bit."

Harry shrugged before saying, "Don't you have stuff to get.".

"Right." Sirius chuckled as he left. Harry walked in and noticed an older woman walk out from a private area with a smile.

"Robes for Hogwarts young man."

"Yes Ma'am."

"Wait here because there's another person currently getting fitted." The older woman smiled.

"Of course." Harry replied and he sat there waiting. Thankfully, it only took a few minutes before the person before him walked out.

"I'll have a house elf come get the robes later." A young woman said as she walked out but when she spotted Harry she was stunned. "Y-Y-Y-Y-You're" the girl stammered. She had very light almost white blonde hair with grey eyes. She was currently in a green long-sleeved blouse that showed off a C cup chest and a black skirt with black stockings and light blue sneakers.

"Harry Potter yes. It's a pleasure to meet you miss." Harry said politely as he stuck out his hand. He knew exactly who she was immediately, but he wanted her to introduce him.

"My… my name is Lyra Malfoy. Oh my god I can't believe this." The now named Lyra stammered. Of all people to run into, she had to run into Harry freaking Potter.

"You two are welcome to continue talking but I need to measure this young man for his robes."

Lyra blushed as Harry smiled, "Sounds good." harry smiled and he and Malkins walked into the changing area with Lyra just outside so they could keep talking..

The normally confident Lyra was as nervous as she'd ever been and it took her a minute before she finally spoke, "So Harry. Where have you been for the past 12 years? The world hasn't seen you since… that day." Lyra said nervously.

"My location is private for security reasons. Having said that, people have sent mail to me over the years via Gringotts." Harry said with a smile on

"They have!" Lyra stuttered as a blush adorned her face. She was so lucky that Harry couldn't see her right now.

"Yes. Gringotts and my personal House elf sort through them and save the ones that aren't weird or creepy. Over the years I've received plenty of letters of thanks and adoration from older and younger students alike and I try to respond to as many of them as I can. Recently I started actually getting pictures so I could put names to faces." Harry said cheekily.

"Ummm… what did you think of the pictures." Lyra wondered standing nervously as she wondered what he thought of her pictures.

Harry knew he had her and decided that it was time to have some fun. Thankfully the woman measuring him was only amused by what was going on and was able to work while they talked, "I think the photos are quite lovely. In fact, I remember a photo of two very lovely young witches standing by a poster for the last Boy Who Lived book, 'The Veela Vacation' and they both had long blonde hair and… come to think of it one of them looked like you." Harry mused.

"My friend Daphne and I wanted to go to the book signing but my dad would've been furious. We got her mom to take us and get the book and took a photo in front of the poster to celebrate." Lyra admitted her cheeks completely pink. Moving photos were very much a thing and she prayed that the photo didn't do anything awkward

Harry smiled, "Well I hope I get a chance to see both of you down the road. Maybe during the train ride"

"That would be nice." Lyra admitted as she started to calm down. This was surreal and she didn't know what to think.

"Young man I'll be back in a bit with your robes." The women interrupted.

"Of course" Harry smiled.

Lyra quickly steadied herself because they were alone together and the last thing she wanted was for Harry to see her blushing so much, "It was nice meeting you Harry, but I have more shopping to do." Lyra said planning to leave.

"No problem but might I make a suggestion for the next photo." Harry smiled.

Lyra blushed, "What… what would you like."

"I'm quite partial to the scene in Veela Vacation where Harry is relaxing with his guardian on the beach, and he spots two insanely beautiful girls with long blonde hair walking along the beach." Harry smiled.

Lyra blushed heavily at the suggestion because she and Daphne had those very bikini's in their closets, "We'll see." Lyra replied before leaving and doing everything she could to calm down before meeting up with her mother.

Harry was all smiles as he heard Lyra leave and he was certainly looking forward to their next meeting along with seeing if she actually gave him a photo like he wanted, "Well done young man. I daresay you had her eating out of the palm of your hand"

"Thank you. I assume my robes are ready." Harry smiled.

"That's right. I assume you'll want me to hold them for later while you go shopping since you don't appear to have a trunk."

Harry smiled, "No need. Gano!" Harry shouted and his elf appeared.

"What would you like me to do sir?" Gano smiled.

"After I'm done paying, can you please take these robes back to the mansion."

"Of course sir." Gano smiled.

Harry turned towards the woman, "Will that do."

'Of course. Your total Is 5 galleons for the 3 sets of robes." Malkins smiled.

Harry was pleasantly surprised, "I thought the robes were 3 galleons a piece."

"They are but my granddaughter happens to be a big fan of your books. I'm not opposed to reducing the price in exchange for an autograph or two. One of the perks of being the owner of the store"

Harry smiled, "It would be my pleasure Madam Malkin. What's her name."

"Zelda actually." Malkin's smiled. Her husband was obsessed with muggle video games and quite partial to that princess.

Harry appreciated the irony as he paid for his robes and then took a photo for her daughter that was quickly autographed. His Diagon debut was off to a good start.

(Scene Skip)

"I still can't believe Malkins granddaughter is a fan of the books." Sirius smiled as they walked towards Olivander's. Hearing the story about his visit to Malkin's was utterly hilarious and he wondered what Lily and James would think about it.

"Pleasant surprise for me also. Got me a nice discount on the robes too." Harry smiled. He wasn't going to say anything about Lyra since Sirius was in a good mood again after dealing with people trying to ask about him.

"Good man. All we need now is your wand but heads up Olivander is quirky." Sirius warned.

"Good to know and it seems like Malkin's granddaughter isn't my only fan." Harry smiled. It was a minor miracle that most of the people were merely kids their age because the parents quickly pulled them away when they were noticed.

"Enough about that because we've arrived at Olivander's." Sirius smiled as they walked into Olivander's. Though Harry stopped as they arrived because he felt something odd. Not long after he arrived he felt a presence and a much older man walked from a side door.

"Sirius Black with \the legendary Harry Potter. I wondered when the day that you arrived at my store would come."

"Thank you and I must say I'm impressed by the runes on your door." Harry smiled.

'What runes." Sirius wondered.

"Mr. Olivander has microscopic runes placed on the door that identify the magical energy of anybody who arrives. I imagine it's connected to your glasses also in some way." Harry replied. He found Runes fascinating and was angry that he couldn't take it until third year.

"Indeed. I'm the finest wandmaker in magical Britian so if a troublesome individual comes into my store, I can prepare myself. However, in this case my runes have alerted me to an interesting issue."

"Issue?" Harry asked curiously.

"You have an incredible amount of magic, and I don't believe any of my wands would be able to handle you without breaking. Thankfully, I always have what I need to make a custom wand."

Harry knew from experience that Olivander was right, "Will that be the same price or extra." Sirius wondered.

"Olivander's wands are always 7 galleons and that will not change. Now if you don't mind this process is a bit different from what I typically do. First is choosing your wand woods." Olivander smiled before reaching under his desk and pulling out a long box. After opening the box, multiple different blocks appeared. "These blocks are wand woods. Check each one and tell me which one appeals to you the most." Olivander explained.

Harry focused his magic and channeled it over the woods, and he was pleasantly surprised to feel a strong connection to two different woods. "These two." Harry pointed.

"These two?" Olivander said in shock.

"Yes. Both of them feel the same sort of pull." Harry replied.

"Oh my. It would seem you've chosen the Hornbeam and Blackthorn woods. Both are powerful woods suited for a warrior." Olivander smiled.

'I see." Harry said happily.

Olivander smiled before taking the long box and putting it away before pulling out a second one, but instead of cores he saw various objects in small boxes. There were a few feathers but also quite a few strings and Harry was co, "Next is the wand cores. As before, channel your magic over these and tell me what fits." Olivander instructed.

Harry once again channeled the magic but once again felt a strange connection, "Again it's two different ones." Harry smiled as he pointed out the cores.

"Oh my." Olivander replied in shock.

"What's wrong."

"You've chosen horned serpent and thestral hair wands. Most wizards don't even know what thestral are, but considering what you experienced, I can understand that. Still, this will be a particularly tricky wand combination and one I certainly didn't expect when you arrived."

"What did you expect." Harry wondered.

"Never you mind. At any rate I will need you to come back tomorrow because I will need to devote quite a bit of time to this wand." Olivander revealed.

"I see." Harry frowned, not liking that he would have to return.

Sirius was pleasantly surprised also but kept it to himself, "In that case, how about I take you to get that pet."

"Alright" Harry replied. Overall it was a good trip and Harry didn't mind at all.

(Scene Skip)

After a relaxing night Harry and Sirius returned to Olivander's the next day with both quite amused by what they saw. His debut was plastered all over the Daily Prophet and people's speculation only grew when people noticed Olivander closed his door for the day around the time he was there. "Pup I hate to admit it, but you were right. Having James and Lily would've probably broken the wizarding world if this is any indication" Sirius sighed as they walked towards Olivander's. After the article people seemed to be just sitting around waiting for a glimpse of him. It was obvious they were doing it too since everyone seemed to just be looking around. He had a call to make, or things with Lily and James would truly be a mad house.

"I know and it's a good thing I used the charms, or we'd never get my wand." Harry smiled. The duo was mere moments from Olivander when Harry snapped his fingers and removed the Notice-Me-Not Charm and they walked in just as shouts of 'There they are" filled the Alley.

Harry and Sirius smiled at their prank well done but Olivander wasn't' as pleased, "You're going to make it impossible for me to get any business done Mr. Potter. However, I forgive you because of your wand." Olivander smiled as he walked towards them with a long red box.

"I assume this is it." Harry smiled being able to feel the raw power of the wand already.

Olivander smiled before opening the box, "Yes. 13 inches with a mix of Hornbeam and Blackthorn wood with a bit of mithril to bind it along with a dual core of thestral hair and horned serpent. This was a truly tricky wand to create, and I had to use a bit of family magic to finish it. In fact, in my 75 years of wand making this is arguably the most powerful wand I've ever produced, and I almost want to pay you for the privilege of making it." Olivander beamed.

Harry grabbed the wand, and he could practically feel the power thrum. The magic connection was so great that Harry's magic was actually visible around him, "Unreal." Sirius said in awe.

"Indeed. The path you take will change the wizarding world. Whether that's for the better or worse will be up to you." Olivander said ominously.

"Thank you sir." Harry nodded. With his wand now ready, Harry also got a holster so he could carry it around easier. He doubted he'd ever get things to work as quickly as his wandless magic, but the easier he could make things he would.

"Let's go pup." Sirius said calmly Harry was showing himself to be quite incredible and he couldn't wait for Hogwarts.

(Scene Skip)

Potter Mansion was filled with trepidation as Lily and James Potter sat in the sitting room with Sirius on August 31st, "I can't tell if I'm nervous or excited." Lily admitted. Tomorrow would mark their return to the wizarding world after 12 long years. True they'd only be bringing Harry to the station, but they'd reveal themselves to a world that thought them dead.

"Considering how Diagon went, I'm leaning towards the former even with our plans." James frowned..

"Yup. I've already reached out to Amy and let her know. She had a very mixed reaction." Sirius said calmly.

"For good reason. She warned us about Dumbledore and Peter, and she was dead right on both. Maybe if we listened things would be different" Lily sighed. Amelia Bones was the current head of the DMLE and Sirius's ex-girlfriend. Near the end of their time in Hogwarts, they started dating and it continued during Sirius's very brief band stint as well as his days as an auror. When it was decided that the Potter's would go into hiding, she vehemently disagreed and was even more furious with the decision to make Peter the secret keeper. Despite that, Sirius tried to make it work but things fell apart when her brother and wife were killed by a Death eater who escaped from a previous encounter with them because of Dumbledore's non-violent approach. She still remembered the letter from Amelia after they gave her the contents of the will because of how simple it was.

"Dear Lily

I told you so.

Amelia

"When I get my hands on that bloody rat he'll regret the day he was born." Sirius scowled recalling his old friend. Much to his surprise, Peter had been out of the spotlight for the past 12 years, so they had no clue where he was.

"Get in line. Our old friend will pay dearly for what he did" James growled.

"Speaking of the old friends. Any reason that we haven't spoken to Remus in the past 12 years." Lily wondered.

"Remus has always been incredibly grateful to Dumbledore because of what he did for him during his time at Hogwarts. Because of that, telling him information like where we lived was not an option" Sirius sighed. If they told Remus where he lived, Dumbledore would be there within days and that was a situation none of them wanted.

"Right. Plus, I don't think he'd be comfortable being around Harry because of that condition of his. Despite everything you guys did for him, that stigma never escaped." Lily sighed. Being a werewolf was a huge problem in wizarding society and it made things incredibly uncomfortable for him.

"Yeah and THAT incident only made things worse." Sirius sighed.

"Don't remind me. That whole day was a mess." James lamented. The Marauder's did a lot of regrettable things back then and that incident was right at the top.

"All of us have regrets about Hogwarts. We've moved on and hopefully taught Harry enough that he won't make the same mistakes we did." Lily sighed well aware of the incident James

"We've taught Harry everything we know and then some. He could probably get away with going wandless for the first three maybe four years if he wanted. If he isn't the top student in everything I'll apologize to Snape." James scoffed.

"If what Tonks has told us about him as a Potions master you don't need to apologize at all." Lily scoffed. If ever there was a reason to question Dumbledore, the decision to make Snape Potions master was one of them.

"We're acting like Cornelius Fudge doesn't have Lucius Malfoy as a second in command of sorts." Sirius scoffed.

"Don't remind me. Plus there's his Undersecretary" James scowled. Malfoy was unpleasant but Fudge's Undersecretary made him seem gentle by comparison.

"Well let's get some rest. Tomorrow's going to be a long day." Lily sighed.

"Yup." Sirius smiled and the former Marauder's went off to bed. Tomorrow was going to be a long day for all of them and they needed to be ready.

Notes:• There probably isn't a figure that's more divisive amongst the Harry Potter group than Dumbledore. As a kid he's this wise old headmaster who leads Hogwarts. As an adult you realize that he did a lot of grimy shit and chief amongst them is Harry being placed with the Dursley's. I could rant about that for a while. Actually. That would be a very fun fanfiction. Take random topics in Harry potter fanon and canon and rant about them and see what people think. Oh well, that's for somebody else to do.

• Yes I made Harry's house elf have the same name as the Dark wizard Ganondorf and made a few references to Legend of Zelda. That was for fun and don't look too much into that.

• Any grief that people give me about Tonk's and Harry's relationship I don't care. Frankly some of the actual couples are truly disgusting including… oh yeah Tonks marrying Lupin who was 12 years older than her.

• Harry did get Hedwig, so he'll have his favorite owl.

• Harry's not going to have his usual wand but he's also going to be way stronger so get ready for that down the road.
