Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

Text(Slytherin Dorm)

After a boring Muggle studies class Daphne eagerly returned to the dorm alongside everyone else and there was one thing on her mind and that was the Valentine's gift that Harry got her just waiting to be opened during the upcoming break. Opening the door to her room, she looked to the package sitting on her bed waiting to be opened. Grabbing it, Daphne went over to her desk and opened the package to find a small piece of parchment first.

Happy Valentine's Day Daphne and I hope you enjoy my special present. What I've got you is an advanced copy of the final book in the Boy Who Lived Series 'The Terrible Truth' alongside another special surprise.

Love

Harry Potter

Daphne smiled as she looked down to see the orange book and grabbed it before walking over to her bed to sit back and relax. The final gift could wait but for now she wanted to see the final book in the series that launched her crush on the boy she was now sleeping with alongside quite a few of her fellow Slytherins. Unfortunately, her good mood only lasted as long as the first chapter.

In the chapter, Hadrian returns to base with the DMLE Agents who helped him at the end of Veela Vacation and discovers that they are the parents he thought died in a bad car accident when he was very young. The organization that Hadrian and the DMLE agents stopped is a cast-off of an organization that his parents fought with for years back in England. When his mother got pregnant with him they went into hiding since she would be heavily compromised due to carrying him. Unfortunately, a family friend betrayed them, and they were forced to fake their death and leave Hadrian with his adopted uncle.

'Harry Potter you have some explaining to do.' Daphne scowled. Fighting against a dark organization that caused his parents to go into hiding. Betrayed by a family friend and then faking their death in order to live with an adopted Uncle. Calling it the Terrible Truth was more than accurate. The second chapter was called Prophecy but a knock on the door ruined her fun. "Come in." Daphne said grumpily.

The door opened and Tracey walked in. "I hate to interrupt but we should probably get ready for Herbology next." Tracey said calmly.

Daphne cursed because she wanted to finish reading, "Thanks." Daphne said calmly.

"I know that look and I get it. The first chapter is something else but this screams of the type of story that you want to read properly instead of in pieces"

"Because it's interesting or because it's secretly telling the magical world why the Potter's went into hiding years ago" Daphne said knowingly

Tracey blinked before thinking back to the small bit she read before she realized what was going on, "Oh Merlin you're right."

Daphne smiled, "Looks like you completely missed it Trace."

"Yup but that's okay."

"Agreed. Now let's get to class. The sooner the day is over, the sooner we'll be able to find out more" Daphne chuckled. Harry and Sirius pulled off a devious prank and those who realized it would be in for a rude surprise.

"Right" Tracey smiled, and the two girls left.

Daphne was extremely frustrated as she left Potions and as usual it had nothing to do with the class itself. On quite a few occasions she noticed a few of the Gryffindor girls looking at Harry in between steps of the potion they were working on. Brown Patil Dunbar Granger, not a single one could look anywhere except towards Harry. The only bright side was the fact that Weasley wasn't in class. Still, having Seamus work with Thomas and Longbottom presented a rather interesting headache for the Potions professor. Thankfully, Seamus mostly relayed instructions so nothing blew up for once. Still, the looks from the Gryffindor girls was more than unusual. "Hey Harry." Daphne asked in between steps.

"Yes." Harry said nonchalantly.

"Why were most of the Gryffindor girls staring at you during class?" Daphne asked politely.

Harry smiled, "Were they. I was focused on my partner and our potion." Harry replied.

"Smooth but don't lie to us Harry." Tracey smiled.

"We know why."

"But we won't tell you." Flora and Hestia said with a grin.

"Why not." Tracey pouted.

"More fun that way." The twins said together.

Daphne ignored the girls, and everyone walked back calmly before going their separate ways. Back in her room she read the second chapter and as she suspected, it was very illuminating. Harry asked his family a lot of questions. Why did they fake their death and why did he stay with their adopted uncle. Just as importantly why did they go into hiding after faking their death. It turned out that word reached the leader of Bás, the organization they were fighting, that their unborn child would hold the key to their leader's destruction. That's why the leader appeared that night instead of one of his many soldiers. So they had a plan in place to fake their death and protect him with his adopted Uncle until they could find out more. "Damn you Potter." Daphne cursed. She wanted to read more but she couldn't because she had homework to do

Daphne took a break and then remembered the fact there was a final gift for her. "Let's see what else you've got for me Harry." Daphne smiled as she walked over to the box the book was in and looked at what was remaining. Much to her annoyance it appeared to be a photo, but she'd have to flip it to find out more. Doing just that she found a photo of Harry in his Slytherin uniform. At first she was confused as to why this was a gift, but she got her answer when the Harry started to do what amounted to a strip tease. As she watched, Daphne realized what the looks were about from the girls. The question was, did Brown show them together or did… wait that didn't matter because the picture was down to his boxers but as Harry reached for his boxers he stopped and snapped his fingers instead. Soon the words Happy Valentine's Day appeared on his chest before it stopped and was back to normal.

'Damn you Potter.' Daphne cursed because she realized two things. The first is that Harry was a devious bastard, the second is her weekend would be spent reading this book to see what else Sirus wants to reveal to the world.

(Scene Skip)

Sirius Black was all smiles as the duo sat in the Three Broomsticks. Using family business as an excuse Harry got permission for a one-day trip to Hogsmeade and his smiling Godfather was waiting for him with open arms, "So pup. Did the girls like the gift we set up." Sirius smirked.

"The book or the extra gift." Harry smirked back.

"Both." Sirius chuckled. Harry's idea to give his girls a striptease photo of him in the uniforms of each house was pure genius. The best part was that he had Lavender and Susan's packages contain multiple versions since he didn't want everyone to know just how many girls he was sleeping with.

"I saw a few dirty glares but mostly smiles." Harry replied focusing on the photo.

"And the book itself." Sirius smiled.

"I'll be shocked if more than 4 girls figure out the true purpose of the books."

"True but it's a good test for when the actual release happens this summer. Wouldn't want your fans stuck at school to miss out" Sirius smirked.

"Yep. So was this only to see how well your plan worked or did you have another bit of news." Harry grinned

"Yes actually. I got a message from my friend in France who's kids your parents saved during their anniversary trip gone wrong. He was hoping that we could try again now that you know who is dealt with and this time he even offered to invite you along." Sirius smiled.

Harry was intrigued. His parents admitted that France was beautiful and the idea of spending a summer there was incredibly enjoyable, "I'm in."

"Good. I'll let Jean know and we can make arrangements to enjoy that. Goodness knows you need an actual vacation after being cooped up in Grimmauld." Sirius chuckled.

Harry smiled before his expression darkened, "So any news about you know what."

Sirius's smile instantly turned into a frown, "Yes but you're not going to like it."

"Go for it." Harry said bracing himself.

"Croaker sent the name to Amelia but when she went to open up a formal investigation Fudge stopped her."

Harry was shocked, "He what!!!" Harry roared.

"As pissed as you are, Amy and I are 100 times worse. It speaks to how stupid Fudge is but even if we tried to get rid of him, most of the other candidates who would realistically win are incompetent, corrupt, or both." Sirius replied.

"Bloody hell." Harry cursed.

"Tell me about it." Sirius smiled. He hated politics as a kid and the older he got the more his hatred grew. In the end the only way of truly getting rid of Lucius was to wait for him to make a mistake that even Fudge can't overlook. Sadly that might be a while.

Harry walked into the Great Hall about 30 minutes later than usual thanks to an extremely enthusiastic weekly bath from his Hufflepuff girls, but before he could even make it to the table Daphne got up from her spot and ran over to him before leaping into his arms, "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." Daphne said happily before slamming her lips into his to the shock of Harry and most of the people watching. His shock didn't take long to fade and soon they were snogging in front of everyone until Daphne pulled away. There were wolf whistles all around and Harry didn't mind but was curious as to the cause.

"What did I miss." Harry smiled.

'I'll show you." Daphne said happily as she walked him back to her spot. Harry immediately noticed the folded parchment and waited for her to show him what happened.

Dear Ms. Astoria Greengrass,

With the help of a Muggle Hospital associated with St Mungos we were able to determine that the Blood Malediction, whose identity has previously eluded us, is a variant of a muggle disease called Leukemia. While there is no magical cure for this disease. The muggle version has treatments that we are working to adapt to match magicals, and we believe that by the summer we will have a cure available for you. We apologize for our previous inability to help you and now hope that you will live a happy and healthy life. The treatment will also be completely free so do not worry about costs.

Alana Nightingale

Lead Healer Unspeakables

Harry smiled, "Congratulations."

Daphne was as happy as ever, "Thank you so much harry. Without your suggestion we would've never thought to do so, and I know you're the reason the treatment is free also." Daphne beamed.

"I have nothing to do with why the treatment is free.' Harry replied. The treatment was free to Astoria because it was being paid for by House Black. Astoria was a consort after this winter's events, so Sirius had no problem footing the bill.

"Either way, my sister is going to be healed by the summer and now we can both life a happy and healthy life with you." Daphne smiled.

"What do you mean by that Greengrass." Draco scowled having watched the lip lock with pure disdain.

Daphne smirked because Draco was going to lose it, "When my father matched me with Harry, he also made my sister a consort of his house. That way both of us can have an amazing man who will treat us well." Daphne smiled.

"So you're telling me the Noble House of Greengrass will essentially belong to Potter." Draco said in disbelief.

"Yes and I couldn't be happier." Daphne smiled.

Draco fumed, "This is insanity. My father will hear of this." Draco replied.

Harry rolled his eyes, but before he could say anything somebody else did, "Bloody Hell Draco can you stop asking for dad the minute something happens that you dislike. It's embarrassing." Lyra scowled.

"You should consider yourself lucky that you're still in House Malfoy sister." Draco scowled.

You should consider yourself lucky that you're still in House Black." Lyra quickly countered.

The two siblings stared each other down before Draco huffed and went back to eating and so did the rest of Slytherin. The week was off to an amazing start and most of Slytherin was smiling since they knew how much this meant to Daphne. Family mattered to Slytherin as much as anything and for those who knew the history of the Greengrass the news that she was cured was a welcome one. Sure it was by Muggle means but they could make an exception.

(Scene Skip)

With class over for the day, Harry was going to relax for a bit in his favorite chair before taking care of his homework but clearly fate had other ideas, "Potter!" Marcus Flint roared as he stormed towards Harry as he sat in his favorite spot in the common room. The dorm tensed because it was the first time in a while anybody approached Harry in the chair.

"Yes Flint." Harry said nonchalantly.

"What are you doing talking to the seeker of our next opponent." Flint growled

"Now how exactly do you know about that." Harry said not bothering to deny it. The tension in the room grew as a result.

"Who cares how I know Potter. You're a snake and you've betrayed us to the enemy. Now face me in a duel you coward." Flint said angrily.

"No." Harry replied quickly.

"NO!" Flint fumed.

"That's right no. While I admit I do talk to Chang. I don't really have anything to tell since I've never bothered with you guys after that nonsense from the tryout." Harry said firmly.

Flint's face went beet red, and he was about to reach for his wand when a voice interrupted, "What the fuck is going on here." Gemma Farley scowled as she approached from the side.

"Nothing you need to worry about Farley. I'm just making sure this little traitor knows his place."

Gemma raised an eyebrow, "And why exactly is Potter a traitor."

"Because he's been seen spending time with Cho Chang. The Ravenclaw seeker."

"And." Gemma asked not caring too much about that at all.

"Chang is our opponent this weekend. For all we know Potter could be telling her our secrets.." Flint replied.

"And like I said I'm not." Harry replied flatly. This guy really was a moron.

Gemma smirked, "So if you weren't telling her Slytherin secrets, what were you and Chang talking about."

"Not much talking. A fair bit of moaning actually but not much talking." Harry smirked causing Flint to scowl and Gemma to blush at the implication.

"That's worse. Isn't Greengrass your betrothed." Flint scowled.

"She's a mistress of House Black if anything." Harry deadpanned.

"Which means there's no problem." Gemma pointed out

Flint was furious but he couldn't argue anything else, "Watch yourself Potter." Flint scowled before leaving.

Harry just chuckled, "That was fun." Harry replied.

"You love playing with fire don't you." Gemma said with a wry smile.

"From the moment I was put in Slytherin it was going to be a challenge for me. I got extremely lucky early on and I've leveraged everything perfectly since then." Harry said with pride. The ease with which he managed Slytherin was actually downright terrifying.

Gemma smirked, "Yes and look at you now. There used to be quite a few fights over this very seat and now everyone pretty much gives it to you after what happened with Malfoy."

"Which one?" Harry teased since there were two in the dorm.

"Draco." Gemma replied with a grin. The way he dispatched Draco so ruthlessly with a spell he clearly just found out about turned some heads.

"Oi Farley if you're going to become the latest girl to fuck Potter, at least go to your room to do it." A third-year boy who sat on the circular table not far away from Harry's spot said with a flat expression. Most of the dorm knew about his relationships, and as long as the girls were okay with it, they pretty much left it alone.

Gemma smiled, "I wasn't planning to do that today but now that I think about it, I could use some stress relief."

Harry rolled his eyes at the brown-haired prefect, "Lead the way." Harry smirked as he got up and prepared to enjoy another conquest.

(Scene Skip)

While most of Harry's life was golden there was one thing that made him uncomfortable or rather one person and that was Professor Quirrell, "Thank god it's over.' Harry groaned as they left a double DADA Thursday morning and walked back to the dorm.

"I agree. It's like he bathed the room in garlic." Daphne groaned.

"Which is annoying because there's no need for it based on his concerns."

Daphne narrowed her eyes, "Explain."

"The wards around Hogwarts are extraordinarily powerful to the point that no creature should be able to get into the school without being keyed in or the teachers would be all over it."

"Didn't that troll get in during Halloween without anybody knowing." Tracey reminded them.

'About that. I have serious questions about that night" Harry said with a scowl.

"Like what." Lyra wondered.

"I find it hard to believe that a large fat troll manages to leave the Forbidden Forest, get onto Hogwarts grounds, and walk into a castle near dinner time without a single person seeing hearing or smelling it" Harry frowned.

"What are you getting at Potter." Draco scowled alongside his own group.

"Only two options exist and neither of them are pleasant. Either somebody let the troll into the school OR it was already in the school and managed to escape from wherever it was being contained."

"Impossible. There's no place in the school that could hold a troll very easily." Draco scoffed.

"What about the Third Floor Corridor. Dumbledore did say that certain death awaits anybody who goes there." Tracey pointed out

"That would make sense but there's no way in hell, Dumbledore would leave a place that dangerous without wards of some kind. This is a school of teenaged wizards, and nobody is more reckless than teenage us." Harry smiled.

"True but still, that leaves a very important question. Who let the troll into the school." Daphne said curiously as everyone else thought about it also.

"That's easy. The only teacher who wasn't present in the Great Hall and the person who alerted us to the troll in the first place."

"Quirrell. You really expect me to believe that Quirrell is the one responsible." Draco scoffed.

"Yes and no. Quirrell is the one responsible, but he's got a little help." Harry replied.

Daphne looked at him before her eyes widened, "You're not suggesting that Quirrell is possessed are you." Daphne said in shock.

Harry frowned, "I am, and the clue is the garlic in his room."

"Explain." Draco scowled.

"Dark magic has a very distinct smell that most purebloods would recognize in an instant and don't even try to deny it." Harry said firmly

Lyra's eyes widened as she realized what Harry was getting at, "The garlic would mask the smell of the magic. Oh my god." Lyra gasped.

"Yep. Funny story is that Quirrell was the Muggle studies teacher last year and according to Tonks he didn't have that stutter that everyone knows and loathes." Harry smiled. He brought it up to Tonks in the immediate aftermath, but they hadn't talked about it since.

"So what do you think happened." Daphne wondered.

"I don't know but be careful. Quirrell is up to something and considering what he's already tried, who knows what he would do if he's cornered." Harry replied.

"Sounds good." Daphne spoke up.

"Also don't t hint that we know something is wrong. Keep pretending we're clueless and we'll go from there." Harry instructed. Everyone else nodded their approval and they made their way back, but one thing was for sure, the next time they had DADA they'd be a bit more careful of their teacher.

(Scene Skip)

"Still not going Potter." Draco scowled as he approached him while most of the dorm was headed out to the game between Slytherin and Ravenclaw.

"No. I'm still not happy with Flint for doing what he did to Tracey so I'm going to stay behind and relax.

"Fine but that means you don't get to enjoy any drinks when we win."

"My loss." Harry snorted.

As Draco left, Harry smiled because his plans for the day were already decided. After waiting a few minutes, Harry got up and left the dorm but barely a few feet out and he saw that he had company. "Where do you think you're going Harry." Daphne frowned with Lyra and Tracey right next to her.

Harry smiled, "Decided not to watch also."

"Don't change the subject Harry. Where are you going."

Harry rolled his eyes, "My girls in Hufflepuff missed out on their morning breakfast with me because they wanted to save energy for watching Hufflepuff Gryffindor yesterday. I was going to make it up to them right now."

'You… Do you realize what you just admitted to." Lyra said in shock.

"Yes I do. I admitted that I was going for a booty call in a nice warm bath while everyone was out in the cold. I don't see the problem"

Tracey laughed, "Well at least it's not something stupid like go to the Third Floor Corridor."

"Do you think so little of me." Harry said with false outrage.

"Actually it's quite the opposite. We think that if anybody can go into the corridor without any effort it's you." Daphne replied.

"I'm flattered but no. I'm only going to the baths where my Hufflepuff girls are waiting." Harry smiled.

"When did you arrange this." Lyra frowned.

"My personal elf Gano. He can go through the wards easily and can send messages to Nym if need be." Harry replied.

"Right. Why don't more people do that?" Tracey wondered.

"Because most people aren't smart enough to." Harry replied with a grin.

The girls blinked before deciding not to argue, "Well go ahead and enjoy your Puffs. We're going to watch our house win." Daphne smiled.

"Have fun." Harry replied as he left them behind.

Arriving at the baths Harry gave the password for the week and walked in to find Megan Tonks Susan Hannah and Hestia in bikinis, "Somebody took their sweet time." Tonks teased.

'Somebody was interrogated by other girls who were wondering about something."

"Let me guess. They thought you were going to go to the Third Floor Corridor." Tonks smiled.

"Actually yes." Harry replied a bit surprised that Nym figured that out.

"Why would Harry go there." Susan frowned.

"Because something really amazing is there. I don't know what but it's there." Tonks said calmly.

"Let's worry about that later and enjoy the bath." Harry smiled as he got undressed and joined the girls.

"Yeah. You've got 5 beautiful girls to talk to." Tonks smiled.

"Agreed. So what do you want to talk about.' Harry wondered as he took a spot between Tonks and Susan. Next to Tonks was Hestia while Hannah and Megan sat next to Susan.

Hannah took a deep breath, "Umm. How long have you guys been doing this? I mean the baths." Hannah asked.

"Me and Tonks the beginning of the year. Susan joined about a month in and Hestia not until right before the holidays." Harry said calmly.

"So why weren't we invited to the baths earlier." Megan asked with a small pout.

"Because I wanted to do what was comfortable. I barely know you and Hannah, so I didn't want to overwhelm."

"I see. Still I can't help but ask what would be happening if me and Hannah weren't in here," Megan asked with a smirk.

Harry knew she was baiting him, but Harry wasn't going to fall for it, "Does it really matter Megan." Hestia frowned.

"No but I'm curious. I mean Susan always seemed to have a glow to her Mondays and Saturday's and while I get that this is an amazing bath. That doesn't feel like enough."

"That's enough Megan. Can't you tell Hannah is uncomfortable." Susan frowned.

"Fine but you will tell me the secret sooner or later." Megan said determined to find out what was happening.

"Sure." Harry replied calmly.

Hannah squirmed, "Umm Harry."

"Yes Hannah."

"What do you think of my suit." Hannah said timidly as she moved in front of him. During the first two baths she wore one piece, but today she decided to wear a powder blue bikini that put her body on full display.

"I think it's lovely Hannah." Harry smiled.

"Umm. I don't look fat?" Hannah asked nervously.

Harry shook his head, "No. Hannah you are curvy and like I told Susan, that's perfectly okay. Not everyone has to be a super model and you're definitely among the cutest girls of our year." Harry replied.

Hannah smiled, "Okay."

Megan smirked, "In that case. Who is your top 5 in our year." Megan said with a smile.

"Megan!" Hestia frowned.

"It's a reasonable question."

Harry shook his head and decided to indulge, "First is Daphne Greengrass and I'm not saying that because she's my future mistress. She has the body of a model and is the smartest girl and second smartest student in our year. Second is Susan who is probably first to most guys because your bodies are both incredible, but Daphne is icy to everyone outside of me Lyra Tracey and the Carrows. Third is Lilith Moon and she's got that mysterious beauty quality to her that's tough to ignore. Fourth is Lyra, much like the top 3 she has a great body and is intelligent but honestly she's not as personable as the others. Fifth would probably be Hannah actually because she's sweet and has a great body herself"

"Really" Hannah replied in shock both at her ranking and Harry's opinion of her.

'Yes. Hannah you are extremely sweet, and some guy will be very lucky to have you some day."

"What about Brown. Goodness knows you two seem to have quite the connection." Megan teased.

"Lavender would be a very close sixth. Hell the top 6 girls are all interchangeable depending on who you talk to." Harry admitted.

"I see." Megan smiled.

Hannah was happy for the vote of confidence, "Thank you Harry." Hannah beamed deciding to show herself off more

"Welcome. Now if you guys don't mind I'd like to enjoy that bath."

"One more question." Megan asked with a smile.

"Megan that's enough." Hestia frowned since this has gotten a bit much.

"No more questions. I was just thinking that instead of those morning breakfasts, we start doing baths also. Most of the boys in Puff are idiots and seeing a stud like you would really start my weekend off right."

"I'll only agree to it if Hannah does," Harry said firmly.

Hannah took a deep breath, "I'd like that too actually." Hannah said with a bit more confidence. When somebody like Harry gives you the seal of approval, it does a world of good for you.

"Then it's decided. Now let's all shut up and relax." Hestia frowned.

'Fine." Megan smiled. Harry finished his bath with the girls and each of them got a chance to press themselves to his body. He made sure when Hannah did that he pulled her in closer, so he knew she appreciated him. Things were escalating and he loved it.

Notes:• Bás is Irish for Death. It's a reference to the Death Eaters. As was pointed out the terrible truth basically references multiple aspects of Harry's history. Needless to say Dumbledore will be pissed when he finds out.

• Harry's Hufflepuff contingent continues to heat things up so everyone sit back and enjoy.
