"Well, what are you waiting for? Tell us where we are." Ikke asked.
This place was the world of spirits. There is only one way to find out, and so the armored man with a halberd raised his weapon to the sky. All the smoke started to clear, and a spirit started to float towards him.
"What is that?" a demon asked.
"That is a cool spirit." The only place that has cool spirits is this world. I'm not sure who this world belongs to, but there are clearly a lot of things to look out for. When you see a cool spirit, you think they are harmless, until you find out how powerful they really are.
"Huh. what do you mean by that?" that same demon asked.
The cool spirit started to glow, and a wave of powerful energy formed around the room.
"Are you ready to leave?" the Ancient asked.
"Leave? What do you mean leave?! Where are we going." the three demons said at once.
"The real world. The only way to get to the real world is with these cool spirits. Otherwise, you will be stuck here until Xion breaks out of his seal, and who knows when that will be." the armored man with a halberd said.
"Also, there is one more thing you should know. Sorry for leaving this out, but we won't be as powerful in the real world. Since you all have grown used to living in the world of spirits, I thought I should give you a warning.
The spirit started to circle around the Ancient, and his power became even more dangerous. The demons and Ikke tried to stand their ground. The armored man with a halberd started to see a small portal form.
"Is that what I think it is?" Ikke asked.
"Yes. but wait" the Ancient said. "It appears to be dangerous right now. I think it would probably be best to wait until the right time to enter the real world. Through the portal, they could see Cyrus assigning companions to all stations. He was doing what a leader does best.
"Do you know who that is?" Ikke asked.
"I've fought him before, and I won. I can fight him if that is what you want me to do." the armored man with the halberd said.
Ikke: "No, wait a while. Isn't that what you said was best?"
Ancient: "It's up to you. I'm confident I can win again. But one thing. You are not allowed to disturb me when I am fighting. You are to remain here."
Ikke: "Fine. I think you would rather fight anyway. Go take him on."
The Ancient then blinked and appeared before Cyrus leaving the demons and Ikke at the world of spirits. The portal remained available, but they decided to follow what the Ancient told them. Cyrus turned around the meet the Ancient. He asked why he was here. The place was off limits to anyone except Cyrus and his companions for the time being. The Ancient didn't say a word and started to walk down the hallway to where Cyrus was standing.
One he was only a few feet away; he took a few cards from his pocket and threw a few of them at the Ancient. The cards exploded, and from the smoke, the Ancient appeared unfazed and now more powerful. The Ancient threw his halberd at Cyrus. The attack was so fast that Cyrus saw his life flash before his eyes. He had less than a second to dodge despite how far away he was, but once he dodged the halberd, he threw some more cards to defend himself. The Ancient sent them back to Cyrus who turned a corner to dodge the explosion.
After a few more times of throwing cards back and forth, The Ancient grew frustrated. He had defeated Cyrus before, and that means he could beat him again. He launched a power attack with his halberd, and this time a dragon that was more real appeared. The powerful dragon flew at Cyrus, but Cyrus used all his remaining cards to protect himself from the attack. One card luckily forced a single explosion that destroyed the powerful dragon. Cyrus threw more of his cards at the armored man with a halberd who threw his fist at the ground causing the building to shake, the floor to start splitting, and the ground came up to form a wall. The wall continued to prove its usefulness for the armored man with a halberd, because every card that went its way was blocked easily. Cyrus also tried throwing a few explosive cards, but none of it impacted the wall. He needed a new approach. Instead of attacking directly, Cyrus threw cards over the wall hoping that they would destroy the armored man with a halberd for good. Unfortunately, the attacks only caused a more massive explosion at the backed forcing the giant wall to fall towards Cyrus. Cyrus barely got out of the way in time. When the giant wall crashed to the floor, loads of debris flew around. The smoke started to cover up the entire hallway. Ikke and the three demons also couldn't see anything after that.
Meanwhile Mehatto continued to fight Xion. Xion was overpowering Mehatto, but it was only because Mehatto was trained to fight with weapons instead of hand-to-hand combat. Every attack from Xion felt so much more powerful. Not even charge up attacks would work on Xion. Mehatto started using all the moves that his father taught him, starting with a simple spinning attack with his fists, then a kick to follow up. Xion saw through the attack, throwing Mehatto back easily.
