Unnoticed by anyone, Mousie launched an attack on General Sost from within the shadows. Given the tense atmosphere and the fact that almost everyone's attention was focused on Aldany and General Sost, no one realized what had happened. So, when Mousie's attack struck, everyone instinctively believed it was a surprise attack from Aldany's forces.
A fierce battle suddenly erupted between the two sides.
Aldany was somewhat surprised, but there was no time to dwell on it. "Since you refuse to submit to me, don't blame me for being rude," he said, transforming into a mass of shadows composed entirely of curses. The dark mass sped towards General Sost with terrifying speed.
