Chapter 186 - Chapter 186: Chibi Tobirama, The Walking Apocalypse

A mushroom cloud rose on the battlefield.

It was an explosion more terrifying than a Tailed Beast Ball. Within the destructive Steam Blast, the powers of Senju Tobirama and Kazuki were fused. With a massive flow of chakra, they showed everyone present the true meaning of weapons of mass destruction.

The mushroom cloud rose rapidly, and as it reached its highest point, it took on a human form. At its summit, a silhouette with crossed arms vaguely formed: Chibi Senju Tobirama, coldly observing the battlefield and his enemies.

When the smoke finally cleared and the earth trembling ceased, the battlefield on Kazuki's side fell completely silent. Only the crackling of the flames broke the stillness, as if the place had become a peaceful forest. There was not a single human sound.

Those closest to the epicenter of the explosion, those who did not manage to escape in time, did not even leave any remains. Only burn marks remained from their final moments as they fled.

Those hundreds of meters away were instantly charred. The intense shockwave slammed them into the ground, leaving blackened shadows of their desperate attempts to flee.

Further away, although the temperature of the explosion had decreased, the force of the impact shattered their bodies. Charred fragments lay scattered across the battlefield, silently telling the story of their tragic end.

Further away, the bodies of the Four-Tails and Five-Tails lay on the ground, smoking and convulsing in pain.

"My eyes... they're burning a little..." Kazuki muttered, exhaling deeply.

He had used a great deal of eye power to cast a large-scale Amaterasu in order to ignite the gigantic Chibi Tobirama as quickly as possible. Now, his eyes were aching from the effort.

He looked up at the sky, blinking as he dripped a few specially treated Yang chakra eye drops into his eyes. Immediately, the discomfort subsided.

There were no tears of blood or swollen veins. Kazuki always took care of his health, and even the slightest discomfort was treated with diligence.

"Huh... Tobirama, how do you feel?" Kazuki's tone was a little tired, but he was excited. "The combination of Amaterasu and Steaming Danger Tyranny, manipulated with your mastery of Water Release... I'm quite satisfied with the result."

"The only problem is the chakra expenditure," he continued thoughtfully. "But considering the power, it's completely worth it."

Tobirama watched the battlefield silently, his expression a little unnatural.

Just now, he controlled his own large-scale version of the Steam Imp. Was it cool?

Actually, yes. The Chibi Tobirama infused with a large amount of Kazuki's chakra is top-notch even if it doesn't explode, not to mention that Tobirama himself has contributed his chakra.

But that level of destruction had taken him by surprise.

He had seen that technique in the First Great Shinobi War. Superheated steam and shock waves were lethal weapons.

However, Kazuki's enhanced version surpassed anything Tobirama had imagined.

"I feel... fine. How about you?" Tobirama asked, his tone hiding a subtle uneasiness.

He had fought many enemies and killed many people in his life, but he had never experienced killing three thousand people in an instant.

"I'm fine, Tobirama." Kazuki looked at the two tailed beasts twitching not far away and shook his head. "It's just that the chakra consumption is indeed a bit high. Even though I have developed the ability to absorb chakra from the enemy, the conversion efficiency is still a bit low..."

"And my chakra reserve isn't ideal yet. I could probably cast this technique one more time, but I'd be at my limit."

"I have to find a way to make up for this shortcoming."

Tobirama looked at the smiling Kazuki, and the corners of his mouth twitched unconsciously...

He knew that Kazuki never lied to him, but listening to him speak with such energy, he didn't seem like someone with chakra deficiency at all.

"Kazuki, actually, you have no weak points anymore…" Tobirama couldn't help but say. "You're already strong enough. Maybe you should stop for a moment and rest. You're pushing yourself too hard."

"Have I suppressed that ancient Uchiha's chakra? How are you doing lately…?"

Tobirama asked with some concern. Initially, Kazuki had been in a cave trying to sort out his own internal problems, but now he appeared on the battlefield against Iwagakure, facing two Jinchuriki. It was clear that he had been forced out to lend support.

Tobirama didn't know what to say...

Kazuki was helping Konoha, and no one could blame him for it. Plus, with two Jinchuriki in their fully transformed forms, Tobirama doubted anyone else in the village could take them on easily.

Only Kazuki could do it.

But the problem was that Tobirama felt a growing fear. If the ancient Uchiha's chakra managed to gain a foothold in Kazuki's body, the situation could become even more dangerous.

The Amaterasu that Kazuki had just unleashed had a range large enough to cover the gigantic Steam Imp.

Tobirama didn't even need to think about it. He was sure that Kazuki had used the power of that ancient Uchiha.

Otherwise, wasting his pupil power like that would have left him blind in just a couple of uses.

But Kazuki simply applied some eye drops, and his eyes didn't even show any signs of fatigue.

"You did well, Tobirama. Thank you for your help..."

Kazuki forced a smile, as if he was unwilling to answer his question directly, shook his head and walked to the side of the four- and five-tailed beasts.

Both Tailed Beasts were still alive, but in a miserable state.

Both of them lay on the ground, their tails missing and completely charred. Their lifeless eyes stared up at the sky. Their bodies were covered in deep wounds caused by the force of the impact. They could no longer continue fighting.

In an instant, both of them returned inside their respective Jinchūriki.

However, Roshi and Han were in an even worse situation. Kazuki took a look at them and couldn't help but shake his head regretfully.

"Don't be in a hurry to die, give me a moment..."

Several thick golden chains emerged from Kazuki's back and dug into Roshi and Han's chests, beginning to absorb the Tailed Beasts' chakra into them.

The chains drew chakra from the tailed beasts, guiding it into Kazuki's body.

"Kazuki, what are you doing?! Don't use your body to experiment. We can try this on some experimental subjects first!" Tobirama, alarmed, immediately tried to dissuade him: "Your internal situation is already complicated enough. We don't need to add any more variables. Focus on solving the current problem first!"

Kazuki shook his head. "Tobirama, my situation is already chaotic enough. A little more Tailed Beast chakra won't make a difference..."

"To an ordinary person, this chakra might be violent and uncontrollable, but inside my body, it is not even worthy of consideration. On the contrary, it most likely finds a corner to hide in."

Tobirama remained silent. He wanted to contradict him, but after thinking about it carefully, he had to admit that he was right...

From his perspective, he himself, Uchiha Izuna, Uzumaki Mito, and the ancient Uchiha were all individuals capable of beating the Tailed Beasts' chakra into submission with ease. Even if the beasts' chakra affected Kazuki, they wouldn't even have a say in asserting themselves!

Inside Kazuki's body, it would be ridiculous to think that a simple Tailed Beast chakra could have any kind of control.

"Alas…" Tobirama sighed and shook his head, resigned. Deep down, he came to a conclusion: So Kazuki still feels like his chakra is insufficient… Is he trying to absorb the Tailed Beasts' chakra, like Kinkaku and Ginkaku did? Kazuki is really bold! Although, well, it's also just his style to be bold and determined.

Kazuki, for his part, ignored Tobirama and concentrated on absorbing the chakra of the two tailed beasts.

Roshi and Han were on the verge of death. Their vitality and the chakra of their Tailed Beasts were fading together...

Kazuki touched their bodies several times, undoing the seals that held the tailed beasts within. Then, with expectation in his eyes, he waited for their appearance.

However, after a few moments, there was no eruption of wild chakra or any other reaction. Everything remained silent.

"Would you rather die with your Jinchuriki than free yourself from the seal?" Kazuki shook his head in resignation. "Time is limited. There is no chance to negotiate… I will absorb what I can."

The Four-Tails and Five-Tails, traumatized by Kazuki, flatly refused to appear.

If they had to die, so be it. After all, it would only take a few years for them to revive. By then, they would be hiding in a cave, and Kazuki might not find them.

But to go out at this moment… their instincts were screaming at them that something terribly bad was going to happen.

"The Adamantine Sealing Chains are too slow at absorbing the Tailed Beasts' chakra… After all, this is not a specialized technique for this purpose."

Kazuki frowned, considering his next steps. "Let's see how much I can absorb. Then I'll have to research how to fuse the chakra of these separate entities from the Ten-Tails… Without the Demonic Statue as a base, gathering the chakra of the nine tailed beasts won't make them fuse naturally."

"I still have to trust Black Zetsu. After this battle, I'll have to give him more room to play."

As Kazuki analyzed the situation, in the distance, Minato, Jiraiya and Onoki could no longer contain themselves. Even Madara, who was watching through Zetsu TV, and the shinobi of Iwagakure felt their hearts skip a beat.
