Chapter 95 - A Long Trip Down  

"So, you are the female," grunted a male and I spun around in the water to see someone standing at the entrance of the pool in a white robe. "You are nothing more than a contamination that needs to be extinguished."

 

I cocked my head to the side, my brain trying to make sense of his words. I was thankful that I was toward the back of the pool, near the large boulders and tropical plants, and as far away from the male as I could possibly get.

 

"What do you want?" I demanded, treading water. I made sure that only my head could be seen from on top of the surface. I really wasn't comfortable with him seeing my body in the bikini.

 

"To rid the world of your kind," he hissed, and I narrowed my eyes, trying to see his face from under the hood of his robes. However, even though I thought I could see it, there didn't appear to be anything there. He had no eyes, no nose, nothing but a thin line that opened and closed every time he spoke. But that couldn't be possible, right?
