Chapter 478 - Chapter 478: S-Snake and S-Robin

Since he had to bring S-Snake and S-Robin along, Carl couldn't use Kamui. However, that wasn't much of an issue—Dr. Vegapunk's research facility was already close to Mary Geoise. Even flying there wouldn't take too long.

Besides, both S-Snake and S-Robin possessed the Lunarian physique, allowing Carl to travel at full speed.

After Carl left with them, Dr. Vegapunk immediately began preparations to transport the third-generation Pacifistas and the Seraphim to Mary Geoise.

Once the ship was ready, twenty-seven third-generation Pacifistas boarded in an orderly manner, followed by Dr. Vegapunk and the remaining five Seraphim, who were the last to embark.

Just as the ship set sail, S-Yasha stepped forward and spoke up.

"This is too slow. I don't want to keep Lord Carl waiting."

Dr. Vegapunk paused for a moment before replying,

"Yasha, this ship has been modified by me. Its speed is not inferior to that of a standard battleship."

Yasha scoffed, shaking his head dismissively. He took two slow steps forward and crouched down, placing his hand on the deck.

In the next instant, the entire ship lifted off the surface of the sea and began floating in the air.

Dr. Vegapunk's eyes widened in shock—he hadn't expected Yasha to have mastered the power of the Float-Float Fruit to such an extent.

A sinister grin spread across Yasha's lips as he chuckled, "Fuhihihi... Lord Carl, I'm on my way!"

With that, he waved his hand, and the floating ship swiftly turned its bow before accelerating dramatically, vanishing into the horizon in the blink of an eye.

...

Mary Geoise

Carl had already returned to his chambers with S-Snake and S-Robin. Hancock and Robin soon arrived, coming face to face with their miniature counterparts.

Hancock covered her red lips with her hand, her gaze filled with surprise as she observed S-Snake, who was tightly gripping Carl's hand. Meanwhile, Robin carefully examined S-Robin and remarked with a touch of astonishment, "So these are the Seraphim cloned using our blood? As expected of Dr. Vegapunk..."

S-Snake and S-Robin tilted their heads, curiously observing their originals. S-Snake's gaze carried a hint of hostility.

She embodied the deepest pride within Hancock's heart. While Hancock herself could maintain a gentle demeanor in Carl's presence, she was, at her core, someone capable of wielding Conqueror's Haki. If she had ventured into the outside world on her own, she would still become the same Empress as in the original timeline.

Similarly, S-Snake, who shared the "Empress" nature, immediately developed a competitive spirit upon seeing her original. She knew she had been cloned from this so-called original, but she refused to believe she was merely a lesser version.

Whether in strength or beauty, she was confident she was in no way inferior!

Hancock, sensing S-Snake's hostility, narrowed her eyes slightly and leaned forward with a soft smile.

"What's your name?"

S-Snake lifted her face to meet Hancock's gaze. Unfortunately, her height was a clear disadvantage in this confrontation.

"S-Snake."

"Hmm, then how about I call you Little Snake? You look almost exactly like I did when I was younger. From now on, just call me Big Sister."

S-Snake let out a haughty huff. "I'm obviously much prettier than you! Why would I call you Big Sister?!"

Before she could say another word, Carl flicked her forehead.

"Ow!" S-Snake clutched her head, her face filled with grievance as she stared at Carl with big, watery eyes.

Carl wagged a finger at her. "Hancock is your Big Sister. Show her some respect. If you keep acting like this, I'll have to spank you."

In front of Carl, S-Snake was nothing more than an obedient little girl. Even though she felt wronged, she still nodded firmly and responded loudly,

"Understood, Lord Carl!"

Then she turned to Hancock, bowed slightly, and muttered,

"I'm sorry for being rude just now... Big Sister Hancock."

She deliberately emphasized the word "Big Sister," as a final act of defiance.

Hancock, deeply touched that Carl had spoken on her behalf, gazed at him with eyes practically sparkling with admiration. She then turned to S-Snake and chuckled.

"It's alright, Little Snake. Let's get along from now on, okay?"

S-Snake let out a soft hum of agreement before quickly turning and hugging Carl's leg. In a small voice, she murmured,

"As long as Lord Carl doesn't hate me..."

Carl chuckled and bent down to scoop her into his arms. He gently ran his fingers over her delicate red lips and smiled. "How could I ever hate you? This is your home now. Hancock and the others are your family. Just like she said, you should get along with them."

"Mhm! I'll listen to Lord Carl!"

S-Snake's small black wings fluttered slightly as she snuggled deeper into Carl's embrace, looking utterly adorable.

Carl found himself growing more fond of S-Snake. After a moment of thought, he said, "S-Snake sounds too cold. How about I give you a new name? From now on, you'll be called Figarland S-Snake."

"Eh? Figarland S-Snake... I love it! Thank you, Lord Carl!"

S-Snake's tanned cheeks flushed with excitement. She clapped her hands joyfully, then suddenly leaned in and planted a kiss on Carl's cheek, leaving behind a small, rosy mark.

Compared to S-Snake, S-Robin was much friendlier toward Robin. The moment she saw Robin, she walked up to her and struck up a conversation. The two shared a natural intelligence and many common interests, quickly bonding over their discussions.

Due to her childhood experiences, Robin had always longed for a younger sister. Though she never voiced it, she had secretly envied Monet and Sugar's sibling relationship.

Now, meeting S-Robin—who was created from her own blood and resembled her younger self—Robin couldn't help but feel genuine affection.

Without any prompting from Carl, the two of them naturally fell into calling each other sisters.

However, when S-Robin overheard Carl renaming S-Snake, she abruptly turned her head toward him with eager anticipation in her eyes.

Carl, naturally, wouldn't show favoritism. With a smile, he said, "From now on, you'll be called Figarland S-Robin."

A radiant smile spread across S-Robin's face. She bowed slightly and said softly, "Thank you, Lord Carl."

Just then, Olvia entered the room. The moment she laid eyes on S-Robin standing beside Robin, shock flashed across her face.

S-Robin, in turn, also froze upon seeing Olvia. If Olvia had been in the room earlier, S-Robin would have undoubtedly mistaken her for the original.

After all, with her white hair, Olvia looked far more like an older version of S-Robin.
