Chapter 298 - Chapter 149 Stronger Enemies Still Awaits (Part 2)

Two days later.

Diablo Desert north of South City.

Today, Earth was about to face a great upheaval.

Without a doubt, Vegeta and Nappa were about to arrive on Earth.

At the top of a towering, desolate mountain.

Talot, Raditz, and Salari were waiting there for Vegeta and Nappa's arrival, alongside Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu.

"They're finally coming, Kakarot. Get ready, this is the moment to show the results of your training." Raditz said with a smile, arms crossed, looking at Goku.

"Leave it to me! I've been waiting for this for so long, Brother Talot, Brother Raditz, Sister Salari!" Goku's eyes were resolute, already prepared.

Earlier, he had already sensed the powerful strength of the approaching opponents through Ki Sense, which made him even more excited.

Now that his own strength had grown, he naturally longed to fight even stronger opponents.

This battle had been arranged for him from the very start.

"Then we'll be watching your performance, Kakarot." Salari said with a light laugh, offering encouragement from the side.

"Mm!" Goku replied, brimming with fighting spirit.

The lighthearted exchange between them left Yamcha, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu speechless and sweating.

Seeing them talking cheerfully, they could hardly believe it.

After all, even though their power levels were only around three or four hundred, they had at least gained some rudimentary ability to sense ki.

Two days ago, they couldn't feel anything. But now, those two massive auras drawing closer made it impossible for them to muster even the will to resist.

The disparity was simply too great.

Even though they already knew how unbelievably strong Talot and the others were, they were acting too relaxed.

It was as if they didn't regard the enemies as a threat at all, and were simply leaving the fight entirely to Goku.

At this moment, in space.

A medium-sized spaceship tore through the silent starry sky, heading straight for Earth.

Before long, it entered Earth's atmosphere and appeared in the skies.

Talot and the others, who had been waiting for quite some time, naturally noticed the ship's arrival.

As the spaceship landed at the center of the Diablo Desert, its hatch opened, and Vegeta and Nappa swiftly emerged.

"So this is Earth? Looks like we've landed in a rather desolate place." Vegeta looked around at the bleak surroundings, which was quite different from what he had imagined.

However, Earth's low gravity made his body feel especially light.

"Finally here! After not being able to move for so long, I was about to suffocate." Nappa stretched his stiff limbs and neck, then casually grabbed a rock from the ground and crushed it.

"This planet's gravity is even lower than I expected. And the planet itself doesn't seem very durable either." As he spoke, a sinister grin spread across Nappa's face.

It was clear he was reveling in the contrast—his own formidable strength against Earth's fragility.

Vegeta ignored him, silently activating his scouter.

Beep beep beep beep… beep beep beep beep…

As the scouter activated, the readings of nearby power levels soon appeared.

"Nearby, there are several strong power level readings. Four of them are only a bit over three hundred, one of them is over three thousand, and three more are over five thousand." Vegeta frowned. With his intelligence, it wasn't hard to figure out who these readings belonged to.

After all, Earthlings shouldn't have power levels that high.

Those three strongest readings must be the ones they were looking for.

After all, back during their last encounter, Talot and Salari had already shown the ability to freely control their power levels. Just like him now, they had mastered that technique.

As for the remaining low power level readings, perhaps they were also related to the Saiyans…

"Vegeta, do you think it's them?" Nappa asked seriously.

"Whether it's them or not, we'll know once we check." With those words, Vegeta was the first to use Flight, slowly rising into the air. From afar, he saw several figures standing on a cliff not too far away.

Vegeta couldn't help but tense. He realized they had already anticipated his and Nappa's arrival and had come here in advance to wait for them.

[Hmph! In that case, it saves me the trouble of looking for you.] Vegeta thought to himself as he shot forward through the air.

Nappa, seeing this, followed close behind without hesitation.

Atop the towering cliff.

Talot and the others naturally noticed Vegeta and Nappa flying straight toward them.

"They're here." Talot said calmly.

"It's been so many years, and it seems their strength has indeed improved quite a bit. But that's all there is to it." Salari said casually, arms folded under her chest.

She felt nothing toward Vegeta and Nappa.

In fact, she vaguely remembered how, back then, Nappa and Vegeta had boasted arrogantly in front of her.

"I'm quite looking forward to how our Prince Vegeta plans to face us." Raditz said with a wicked grin.

He was eager to see the look of fear on Vegeta's and Nappa's faces once they witnessed his current strength.

Of course, he had no intention of actually fighting them.

After all, times had changed, and he was no longer the Raditz of the past.

[They're finally here… stronger than when I sensed them before, and their aura is filled with savage energy.] Goku readied himself for battle at any moment, quickly analyzing and sensing in depth.

His emotions surged restlessly within him.

Beside him, Yamcha, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu were already overwhelmed by the oppressive force rushing toward them.

Whoosh~~!!

Whoosh~~!!

Two sounds tore through the air as two figures swiftly arrived.

Vegeta and Nappa landed steadily atop the cliff.

Old acquaintances meeting again—the atmosphere grew unbearably heavy.

"So it really is you. Talot, Salari… and you… Raditz!!!" Vegeta said solemnly, his tone especially sharp when speaking Raditz's name.

An invisible pressure quickly spread out.

Though he knew his strength was nowhere near Talot's, as the Prince of Saiyans, he was unwilling to accept it. So, he instinctively unleashed his strength.

It was both a test and a declaration, showing Talot that he was no longer the same as back then.

This level of pressure didn't affect Talot, Salari, or Raditz at all, but for Goku and the others, it was different.

Goku was somewhat better off. With his base power level above 8,000, Vegeta's pressure only shook his mind slightly. But Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu were crushed to the point of struggling to breathe, drenched in cold sweat.

"In just a few years, you've indeed made great progress. But with only this much strength, it's still far from enough, Vegeta." As Talot finished speaking, a sharp gleam flashed in his eyes.

He understood Vegeta's intent. It was nothing more than a prince's pride, unwilling to concede, trying to show his power.
