On North Kai's Planet.
[So it's come to this… If he's mastered God Ki, then there might still be a chance.]North Kai's heart was filled with excitement. This battle had given him hope.
If Super Saiyan 4 merely allowed one's power level to brush against the realm of gods, then Talot's current form—Super Saiyan 4: Limit Breaker—had truly stepped into the realm of gods in every sense of the word.
As his mentor, North Kai was sincerely happy for Talot.
At the same time, he couldn't help but feel even more worried. Although transcending into godhood was a good thing, it also meant… that the battle ahead would only become fiercer.
A battle between gods and mortals was not on the same level at all!
This was destined to be a fight recorded in history.
Behind him, Gine, Salari, and Bulma's hearts were pounding faster.
Everyone was on full alert, not daring to relax for even a moment.
The next exchange would decide the true victor, and if he lost, it could mean Talot would be gone from their lives forever.
…
In the Sacred World of the Kai.
"Ancestor, has Talot… become a true deity?" East Supreme Kai finally recovered from his brief shock and spoke, belatedly realizing what had happened.
These days, under the guidance of the Old Supreme Kai, he had learned the proper method of training and had begun training God Ki himself.
However, his progress was slow, and his strength was nowhere near Talot's.
Today, witnessing Talot's transformation into a god was like receiving a resounding slap in the face for this Supreme Kai.
Having lived for so many years, he suddenly felt as if he'd been living in vain. He, a Supreme Kai, was so insignificant and incompetent.
Talot had achieved this through his own efforts, while he, a Supreme Kai blessed with divinity and tutelage from the elders, had still been left far behind.
"Yes… and no. I never imagined he could comprehend God Ki entirely on his own in such a short time. The battle ahead will be worth watching," the Old Supreme Kai said with his arms crossed, muttering to himself.
Although his expression seemed calm, a storm raged in his heart.
He had once, intentionally or not, extended an olive branch to Talot, promising that if Talot agreed to become an apprentice Supreme Kai, he would teach him the way to train God Ki and make him a true deity.
But now, he realized how conceited he'd been.
Talot had attained enlightenment on his own, gaining preliminary mastery of God Ki through combat.
The title of Supreme Kai might appear supreme, but in truth, it was unworthy of Talot. His future should stretch far beyond that.
When this battle ended, if Talot chose to remain in Universe 7, he would have no qualms about teaching him the complete God Ki training method, helping him reach even greater heights.
However… perhaps Talot no longer needed it.
…
In space.
The clash of divine powers grew more intense. Blinding arcs of purple and crimson lightning streaked through the void, and the pitch-black cosmos was illuminated by the ever-expanding divine radiance.
Seeing that mere divine pressure could no longer suppress Talot, the next second, Champa launched his attack. That rotund body exploded with speed that defied reason, far beyond what anyone could expect from someone of his build.
At the very least, his speed surpassed 100 million units.
It was clear that the God of Destruction, Champa, was finally serious. He intended to use every ounce of his power to defeat Talot.
As Champa charged, Talot's fighting spirit flared. He grinned, turning into a deep crimson flash of light that collided head-on with him.
'BOOM!!!' The fabric of space trembled violently as the hand-to-hand combat reignited.
Talot and Champa clashed in a furious melee—attack and defense, pursuit and counterattack, their bodies operating at full capacity, like twin auroras twisting and colliding across the dark void of the universe.
After transforming into Super Saiyan 4: Limit Breaker, Talot's hand-to-hand combat ability rose to yet another level. Unlike before, when he was completely suppressed by Champa, this time he finally had the strength to fight back, and the two sides were locked in an even battle.
'Bang! Boom! Bang! Boom! Bang! Boom! Bang! Boom! …'
The fight remained evenly matched, and the intensity of their clash grew fiercer by the second.
In close combat, the two fought to a standstill, neither able to truly gain the upper hand.
Talot was thoroughly enjoying the exhilaration brought by such a battle, using his fight against Champa to refine his Super Saiyan 4: Limit Breaker form, pushing himself to draw out even greater power.
He was a Saiyan, born a warrior. For Saiyans, the fastest way to grow stronger was through battle.
As long as he maintained this rhythm and kept fighting, his power would continue to rise. Surpassing his limits and becoming even stronger would be no problem at all.
Champa, however, was different.
His strength was restricted by the seal that Vados had placed on him, limiting the amount of power he could unleash.
From his earlier clashes with Talot, he had already understood how terrifying the Saiyan race could be, and naturally, he wouldn't allow Talot the chance to grow stronger through prolonged combat.
His attacks intensified. Champa went all out, unleashing a powerful offensive that forced Talot onto the defensive, retreating again and again.
Such direct and ruthless attacks momentarily put Talot at passiveness, but at the same time, he smelled an opportunity to defeat the God of Destruction, Champa.
If he keeps fighting steadily, he might win eventually, but it would likely be a narrow victory.
But now… Champa was getting anxious, which means his chance has arrived!
"Fall!!" Champa roared, swinging a fist infused with boundless destructive power straight at Talot's face.
Seeing this, Talot used his ultra-high-speed movement, vanishing from sight in an instant.
Champa's punch struck nothing but air, his expression turning grim. Power of Destruction surged violently around him as his senses expanded to their utmost limit, instantly locking onto Talot's position. He turned and swung his fist backward.
At that exact moment, Talot reappeared behind Champa. Just as Champa smirked, confident that his attack would land, the sight before his eyes left him utterly stunned.
'Whoosh~!!'
Champa's arm passed straight through Talot's body.
