The lady of the house looked around the empty swimming pool and tennis court, seemingly not seeing the person she wanted to meet, and continued to ask the maid, "I need to see him about something."
The maid replied respectfully, "Mr. Jeffrey is in the house, this young lady is..."
As she spoke, she glanced at the obviously reluctant Yan Xiaye, slightly raising her brows.
"Mina, she is Adam's woman."
The lady dropped her eyes, looking tearful, as if she was a mother worrying about her son, her pitiful expression evoking sympathy, "My Cain has been missing since last night, and I suspect it has to do with Adam, so I brought her here to ask Mr. Jeffrey to help me inquire."
"I see."
The maid nodded slightly, as if she held a significant position in the manor, calmly saying, "Madam, you take this young lady and get in the car, go straight to the main house, the butler will take you to see Mr. Jeffrey."
