"Sorry, I'm late." Lin Yan sat down and glanced at the time on her wrist. "I've had a lot going on recently."
"It's okay." Ling Tingfeng handed Lin Yan a document that required her signature. The company was preparing to start filming the second season of the national talent show.
"You haven't been to the company in a while. Is something going on at home?" Ling Tingfeng noticed Lin Yan looked exhausted and listless, and she hadn't been reachable for a few days. It didn't seem like she had been on vacation.
"Nothing." Lin Yan replied lightly, signing her name. "My husband is waiting for me outside, so I'll be going."
Lin Yan took a sip of her coffee. The meeting with Ling Tingfeng lasted no more than ten minutes.
Ling Tingfeng nodded with disappointment, wanting to raise his head for a serious look at Lin Yan.
Lin Yan was already up, pushing the door open, still holding the unfinished coffee cup.
