Lu Hongze turned sideways: "Welcome, my beautiful Miss Lu Nianxi."
Lu Nianxi walked in elegantly, holding a vase.
Lu Hongze had been focused on her just now, and only noticed she was holding a delicate and cute little vase.
The vase wasn't big, with only four or five flowers in it.
A sunflower, a pink rose, a green daisy, and some Oriole Grass.
Four different kinds of flora combined together made a lovely scene.
"You went out of your way to buy me flowers again," Lu Nianxi placed the vase on his desk: "Thank you, Ze!"
Lu Hongze pulled her to sit down, and they sat side by side at the desk.
Lu Hongze said, "I originally bought it for you, but gave it to Grandpa instead, afraid you'd cry secretly at night."
"I wouldn't do that." Lu Nianxi laughed: "These flowers don't have a scent, should be fine in the bedroom, right? If not, I'll take them away."
"It's fine," Lu Hongze said: "I can't handle strong scents, like lilies and such."
