Chapter 150 - A means to an end

Not done, Azalea spat at Delilah, "if you want an apology get it from Carlisle. If he wasn't an attention seeker you wouldn't have ended up in the fish pond in the first place."

All the people pleasers and followers that hung out with the Mercifuls were in a state of shock. 

For Azalea to tell Delilah this while she lay soaked in the pool of water was also adding further insult to grievances. 

Even worse, Delilah was an A-Class conduit; she should not have been so easily overpowered by a C-Class conduit.

The others thought it was shameful but no one dared to speak that thought out aloud as the gap between their skill levels was even several times wider than the fish pond.

Azalea was not someone obsessed with looks but seeing Delilah look like a drowned cat made her feel really good and she could hear little sprout giggling in the background. 

It was a pity that when Delilah fell into the fish pond some of the water splashed onto Azalea's gray suede boots.
