Chapter 22 - Androsi V/s Amin

Another strick tried to Peirce me but again I dodged to the side. I felt like this sh*t will never end. I looked at the two girls standing leisurely at the back as I fought this giant. I had to talk to them if I wanted this pointless fight to end. Though that was the problem, I knew I had to talk to them to stop this giant but what talk exactly? How should I convince them to stop this guy?

"That is enough, Akr." I heard Rachel. It seemed like I wouldn't even have to talk to them at all which was good.

After the giant, Akryung, started heading back to the two girls, I looked at them a bit more carefully.

Rachel had an annoyed expression on her face as she scratched her eyebrow while Androsi had an extremely amused expression, No, calling it amusement might be understatement. She was full on laughing right now.

I didn't know what to expect but I also headed for the two of them but not before looking at Akryung one more time.

There was nothing I could do to beat him...

This thought kept repeating in my head. I felt extremely weak in front of this giant right now. The fact that I thought of myself as somewhat strong before was now making me embarrassed. But I decided to focus on things that are in front of me right now and leave other things for latter.

I stopped walking when I was six to seven meters of distance from the trio. I now could hear their conversation, though barely...

"Basterd, Can't believe he didn't even try to attack during the almost fifteen minutes battle. I even asked Akr to slow down his speed, telepathically, so that this basterd would at least have a chance to attack him but...Urg..." Rachel spoke as she massaged her head. I don't think she had telepathy in the anime, Did she?

"Puff...Hahaha... That's what you get for thinking that you can predict everything... Hahaha..." Androsi laughed in a controlled manner as she made fun of her.

"Telepathy?" I blurred but wasn't answered.

Unfortunately, I didn't had time to think about that too much as I noticed another thing she had said. She asked Akryung to... Slow down his speed so I could get a hit?

I did wonder why she wanted me to land a hit on Akryung but my focus was on something else...

'This means Akryung is faster then what I saw before...' It made sense. After all, A being with that much STR can't possibly be so slow. Though, I don't think that he would have superhuman speed, his speed still must be at least higher then average human's.

"Why did you wanted me to lend a hit on that... guy?" I asked while wondering what kind of creature he really was.

"Don't worry about that. I just wanted to know how strong you were." I heard Rachel speaking and then mumbled something under her breath that I couldn't quite hear...

'And then decide whether to kill you or not...'

"But it seems like you are smarter then you look and had already realised that you can't really beat Akr." She said to which I nodded with a slight frown.

"Yes... My attacks... just wouldn't have done any damage... so there was no point in attacking him..." I said looking slightly down. I can't believe how truly weak I was to be honest. That Akryung guy... even if he decided to just let me attack him for an entire day straight, I still wouldn't be able to do much damage...

Though that doesn't count extremely vulnerable spots like eyes or... between the legs... I feel like even he would receive damage there...

"Well, it is also good that you can analyse your situation like that. It is a good quality to have. But, since you were unwilling to attack an unbeatable foe, how about fighting Androsi instead? I do want to know your strength after all." Androsi looked at Rachel for a second. She looked to be saying 'Do I have to?' before looking at me and smiling.

It looked like she also wanted to fight with me...

To be honest, I still don't know what Rachel is scheming but honestly, after the fight just before this one, I needed a slight boost in confident. Though I had to make sure that I would at least have some chances of winning before I actually start fighting Androsi or else I would lose even more confidence in my strength...

So, I asked the system...

'Show me her stats, System.' A window appeared in front of me as I said that...

_____________

Name: Androsi Jahad

Health: 500

Shinsu: 700

_____________

Her defence is still higher then my attack power...

_____________

[Force swing]

Damage: 150

Heal: 50

Cooldown: 4 sec.

______________

She has 190 DEF. Just 150 damage wouldn't cut it. even if I add the 60% of STR in the mix, it would still not be enough. But it's not like I don't have any chances of beating her...

If I think about it clearly, There is a way to beat her and that way is... by increasing my own strength. I need to increase my damage and I had two ways to do that.

Skill points or Gold... I thought about which one to use in order to increase my strength. But then again, I didn't really have any info on how much damage would be increased if I leveled up my skills so I decided to check that first.

'System, use one skill point to level up this skill.' I said and waited for a second but nothing happened. I opened the skill window in the system and checked the skill again. Sure enough, It's level had increased.

_____________

[Force swing]

Level: 1>>2

Swing the sword/spear vertically in 180° at the front of the user dealing base damage of 170(+60% STR) and heal for 60(+40% STR).

Damage: 150 >>170

Heal: 50 >>60

Cooldown: 4 sec.

_____________

A 20 increase in damage?

A smile appeared on my face as I said.

"Alright, I'll fight Androsi." And ordered the System–

'System, Increase the level of this skill four more times.'

______________

[Force swing]

Level: 2>>6

Swing the sword/spear vertically in 180° at the front of the user dealing base damage of 250(+60% STR) and heal for 100(+40% STR).

Damage: 170>>250

Heal: 60>>100

Cooldown: 3 seconds.

______________

My smiled widened.

'Cooldown also got reduced, Nice.' This was an unexpected boon but I would welcome it with open arms.

I looked at Androsi as I took out my staff from my pocket. 250 damage would be reduced by her DEF of 190 meaning she would only receive around 60 damage per force swing I use... She has 500 health, so if I used the Force swing around 8 times her health would be reduced by 480. She would only have around 20 health left after that...

I think this damage is good. I could increase my damage more by using more skill points but I didn't want to make the fight too easy.

Back on earth, when I was around fifteen years old, I had started learning boxing. I don't remember why I had started that but I think it was just a curiosity.

After that, when I became an adult, I started fighting for money. I had started going to the local arenas or tournaments to fight. At the time, I didn't know why was I even fighting. I didn't really needed anything to be honest. My dad was well off financially so we didn't lack money nor did I seek fame. Heck, fighting would mostly get me injured which I didn't particularly like so, I didn't know at the time why would I come back to fight in those rings, again and again.

But, now I know why, I mean, it should have been obvious. I liked to fight. Well, it isn't like my blood would start boiling at the mention of a fight or anything like that. It's more like playing games... I don't know how to explain it to be honest but it is just... Fighting is just something I like to do...

I had realised that I had liked fighting after I came to this world or more specifically, after I fought a few people here and found that the fight would always be over before it had the time to even start. well, it was more or less because I was spamming force swing... but holding back my strength wasn't my style. though winning that easily did really made me dissatisfied and at that time I didn't even knew why I was feeling like that.

That's the reason I don't want to increase my force swings level too much or else I would again start making the fights too easy.

Though that doesn't mean I would stop getting stronger. I know there would be more stronger people in the future that I would be fighting so I wasn't really worried to become strong. I just want to hold back while I am facing Androsi right here, so that I can at least enjoy the fight.

"This kinda pisses me off to be honest." While I was thinking all that, I heard Androsi speaking.

"So you are saying that I am weaker then this bull and so, you think you can beat me?" Androsi crossed her arms as she looked at me with a challenging smirk.

I am not gonna lie, She kinda looked terrifying at this moment... Though I wasn't going to back down.

"Well, we will see when the fight ends, won't we?"

"Hah, So overconfident." As soon as she said that, she started dashing towards me.

I looked at my passive and found it to be on cooldown. I sighed and immediately used [Force Swing] as I saw Androsi just a few meters away from me.

Androsi was using a needle as her weapon. Needles are katana like weapons though they are slightly different from straight up katanas.

As I swung my staff towards her, she blocked my attack with her needle. Though the force behind my attack was greater then her strength so she was deflected towards another direction.

"That was quite the strength..." She stabilised herself as she looked at me with a surprised expression.

Her thoughts were written all over her face, She was a princess of Jahad so she should at least be stronger then me physically right? heh, but it seemed like that wasn't the case.

She wasn't stunned for long though as she launched her own attack. She jumped up and swung down her needle at my head.

In turn, I jumped back to dodge her strick. I wasn't going to block any of her attack in this fight as my STR was quite low compared to her so I knew I would be crushed if I even tried to block her attacks. Fortunately, she was not really too fast. she might be slightly faster then me but we didn't had too much of a gap in that regard.

After that strick failed, she followed up with an upper cut to which I again dodged while jumping back. Then she swung her needle towards my right, and what do you know, I dodged it again by jumping back.

Androsi frowned as she looked at me for a second, wondering what the heck was wrong with me. Unfortunately, she didn't had much time left as the cooldown of both my passive and Force swing was over.

I smiled and used my Ultimate...

IMPORTANT THINGS!! YOU SHOULD READ!!

Well, this is about a stat that you can see on Amin's status pannel...

Name: Amin sethi

Level: 7 (2+5)

Health: 500 (250+250)

Shinsu: 2200 (1200+1000)

STR: 18 (13+5)

DEF: 29 (24+5)

MAT: 16 (11+5)

MDF: 14 (9+5)

Attack speed: 0.76 (0.71+0.05)

Movement speed: 5.6 (5.1+0.5)

Crit chance: 6% (1+5)

Lifesteal: 6% (1+5)

Cooldown reduction: 6% (1+5)

Physical attack penetration: 6 (1+5)

Magic attack penetration: 6 (1+5)

Gold: 2044

Skill points: 12 (2+10)

You see the two stat about penetration? I think most people would know what they are. Basically, this stat can bypass a person's DEF or MDF stat.

Now, I think there needs a bit more explanation... Let's take Amin's status as an example. Amin has 18 STR so if he attack someone then he should deal 18 points of damage right? Well, yes, but it's more like this–

His total STR is how much damage he can do and the penetration stat points is the amount of damage within STR that would penetrate. So technically speaking, even if he has 100 points in Physical penetration, if his STR is only 18 then he will still be doing 18 points of damage but all that 18 points of damage would be penetrative damage.

Hmm...I don't know any better way to explain that...

Ah! Also Weapons like swords that are sharp have their own penetration damage. But if the STR is low then you wouldn't be able to use that to advantage. Since STR is basically the maximum damage a person can do... Well, except MC since he has force swing...

Alright, that's about all. Goodbye folks, happy reading!
