"Yeah, I know. But when it happens, it really dampens everything. And it just happens, as if to mock our hard work and effort in planning everything, which just makes me feel worse," Treyton said and had another drink before adding, "By the way, where did you hear about someone injured by zombies but woke up as an ability user, so they didn't turn into a zombie? I haven't heard any case of that happening in the base."
"I just heard it being mentioned by some people gossiping while I was visiting around the base. So, it's just a baseless rumor," Luciel said casually.
