Chapter 273 - Chapter 274 Something snap

Makarov Dreyar's worst fears had materialized.

Back at the Fairy Tail Guild Hall, the Master slammed his fist down on his desk, rattling the numerous objects scattered across it.

"What are they thinking!"

He roared.

The Magic Council, instead of extending a diplomatic welcome to the group whose power had saved their leadership, had sent an official enforcement envoy.

They didn't come to greet Arthur and his group; they came to arrest them under the ludicrous pretext that they had "illegally crossed the border between kingdoms," a charge completely fabricated to mask the Council's fear of the unknown.

Makarov didn't hesitate.

He knew the volatile danger this decision presented.

He gathered his strength, preparing to rush out to the apartment to stop the envoy himself, but everything was too late.

A massive, suffocating magical pressure—a conceptual force that seemed to ignore the atmosphere and target the very foundation of the world—shot out toward the sky above Magnolia.

It was a power that felt boundless and primordial.

Makarov felt suddenly small, his entire being shrinking under the weight of this raw, unimaginable authority.

Then, a shocking thing happened. A shimmering, ethereal form coalesced in the Guild Hall—the ghost of the guild's founder.

"The true dragon, the Dragon of all Dragons, has come to our world…"

Mavis Vermilion, the First Master, manifested herself, her voice a whispered echo of awe and profound recognition, speaking not of Arthur, but of the energy contained within him.

Unaware of the Council's fatal decision, Arthur's group was enjoying a moment of peaceful domesticity in their temporary apartment.

Arthur was happily feeding Botamon a steady diet of specialized treats: Digital Capsules and brightly colored Red Chips—items he had created with his Reality Blending to perfectly align with the digital creature's growth needs.

Botamon happily ate them with gusto, letting out satisfied coos.

"He will evolve soon…"

Arthur mused, watching the tiny puffball creature's growing strength.

Arthur was not alone. Shuna had hatched a cute, plant-based Digimon.

"She is so adorable, Arthur-sama. Thank you for giving me such a cute partner."

Shion had a fierce, feline creature that looked ready for battle.

"Yes, thank you so much Arthur-sama!"

And even Milim, still under the seal, had hatched a small, mischievous Dragon Digimon that was just as volatile as her.

"Hahaha, my digimon is the strongest! He has already evolved!"

"This is not fair!"

Rimuru complained loudly, pouting fiercely.

She still had her perfectly crafted Digivice, but her partner remained unborn.

She desperately wanted to feed and interact with her own digital companion, but Arthur's calculations held true: it would take several more weeks before her partner was ready to be summoned.

"You have to be patient, Rimu,"

Arthur said, trying to contain his amusement.

"You can say that because you have Botamon!"

Rimuru retorted, crossing her arms.

Rimuru was undeniably right, and Arthur could only smirk at his wife's pouting.

Arthur's smile vanished instantly.

His senses, honed by Super Focus and Dragon's Aura, registered a rapid, stealthy approach—and the aura was laced with legal authority and hostile intent.

The door burst open, and a squat figure wearing the official robes of the Magic Council stood there.

It was a severe-looking man with the face and general demeanor of a frog, leading a small squad of armed guards.

The frog-like man, clearly acting on arrogant orders and completely unaware of the sheer power he was confronting, saw the strange, non-human entities.

He spotted Botamon first.

He rushed forward, moving faster than a normal man but far too slow for Arthur.

However, Arthur had never expected this situation before.

And because the frog-like man was like an ant to him.

He didn't react.

He violently snatched Botamon right off Arthur's lap.

"You have been arrested for using unregistered summoning magic! We will confiscate this monster!"

The envoy shrieked, clutching the tiny Digimon in his gloved hand. He then looked around at the other creatures, adding,

"Not only this monster! All of these summoned beasts will be seized! This is a violation of international magic law!"

Arthur saw red.

The initial surprise faded, replaced by an absolute, primordial, seething rage.

This wasn't just bureaucracy; this was a physical threat against his partner—an entity he had just conceptually bonded with.

Something snapped.

The massive magical pressure felt by Makarov and Mavis was Arthur's Authority of Dragon activating, fueled by his Dragon God core.

The air in the room didn't just solidify; the concept of fear and obedience was instantly rewritten.

"You have made a grave mistake,"

Arthur's voice boomed, no longer that of a handsome traveler, but of a conceptual, enraged Reality Bending Cosmic True Dragon...
