Chapter 277 - Chapter 277 Diplomacy

The raw, terrifying power Arthur held in check still vibrated in the air, a silent threat that promised absolute destruction.

Mavis Vermilion, the First Master, floated forward, her ethereal form radiating an aura of calm wisdom that cut through the lingering terror.

She addressed Arthur directly, her large, emerald eyes conveying understanding and absolute authority—an authority rooted in the very history of Fiore's magic.

"Arthur-san,"

Mavis began, her voice soft but resonating with the concept of truth.

"You are clearly a being of immense, stabilizing power. This Council's arrogance was not only foolish but utterly inexcusable."

She then turned her gaze to the four councilors still humiliatingly kneeling on the floor, her expression turning severe.

"You tried to provoke a True Dragon. You violated the laws of guest welcome and endangered the safety of all Fiore. Your apology, though forced, is the least you owe."

Mavis didn't wait for the councilors to reply.

She focused on the core issue: the creation of Arthur's guild.

"To ensure the stability of the kingdom,"

Mavis declared, using the undeniable weight of her founder status,

"And to prevent further acts of reckless aggression against this powerful visitor, I propose a simple exchange."

She looked back at Arthur, her eyes making a direct, conceptual appeal.

"In exchange for your restraint, I will use my full authority to compel the Council to immediately and unconditionally approve your guild charter for establishment in Magnolia Town. Furthermore, your group will be granted total diplomatic immunity from all border and registration laws, pending your adherence to the basic laws of Fiore."

The councilors, led by Gran, attempted to object, but a small, firm surge of Mavis's own powerful magic silenced them.

Jellal, ever the strategist, saw the necessity and the tactical advantage in backing down.

Arthur considered the offer. It was the perfect outcome—immediate, unconditional establishment of his guild, protected from bureaucratic meddling.

He looked down at Botamon, who was finally beginning to relax in his arms.

"Deal,"

Arthur agreed, the word echoing with finality.

He retracted the last vestiges of his primal rage, and the terrifying conceptual pressure in the room vanished completely.

"I accept those terms. My guild will be established immediately, under its own rules."

The resolution was immediate and binding.

Under the spectral glare of the First Master, the humiliated councilors had no choice but to comply.

The official paperwork was stamped, sealed, and approved within minutes.

Arthur's temporary goal for the Sixth Floor was accomplished.

Makarov, breathing a massive sigh of relief, approached Arthur.

"Thank you, Arthur. You saved us from ourselves, and them from you."

He then looked at the charter.

"What will the new guild be called?"

Arthur smiled, looking at his new home in Magnolia.

"Our guild will be called Celestial Forge."

He then looked at Rimuru, Milim, Shion, and Shuna.

"Alright team, the Tower Mission is active! We have our guild. Now, we go back to Magnolia and get to work."
