Chapter 266 - Something to Look Forward To

MHA Universe, Earth, Japan, Musutafu.

"Man, that was intense." Eijiro said as he walked alongside Tatsuo, Akatsuki, Sakura, Mina, Tsuyu, and Toru while they walked through the halls of U.A. "Honestly, I was so scared of getting expelled."

"How do you think I felt?" Toru asked, a slight quiver in her toen. "I came in last place in the overall rankings. If Aizawa-Sensei hadn't been joking, this would have been the last day any of you saw me."

"Not that we could see you either way." Tatsuo said in ateasing tone.

"But he was joking. *Ribbit*" Tsuyu pointed out while shooting an amused glare at Tatsuo. "So, there's nothing to worry about."

"Tsuyu-Chan is right!" Mina exclaimed. "Instead, why don't we go out and celebrate the end of our first day? There's a great cafe near the train station!"

While the other four chatted, Tatsuo, Akatsuki, and Sakura exchanged glances. And threw eye contact, they decided that they would let the rest of their class find out about Class 2-A on their own.

"So, what do you three think?" Mina asked, turning towards the trio. "You wanna come with us?"

"I'll pass." Tatsuo replied while shaking his head. "I'm going to have lunch in the cafeteria. I need to see if Lunch Rush can cook better than me or my cousin."

"Your cousin? *Ribbit*" Tsuyu asked while tilting her head in curiosity.

"You can cook?" Toru asked just as curiously.

"Oh yeah! Soramoto is a great cook!" Eijiro exclaimed. "It's super manly."

"Is it, though?" Mina asked while glancing at Eijiro. "Cooking is very rarely called manly. It's a good skill to have, though."

"I bet you're better, Tatsuo-Kun." Sakura said, undeniable confidence lacing her tone.

"Yeah, I haven't seen too many people who can cook better than you, Tatsuo-Kun." Akatsuki added. "I've been to some pretty high-end restaurants with my family before, and they don't even compare."

"That's amazing!" Toru cheered energetically.

"Now, I wanna try it. *Ribbit*" Tsuyu added.

"We'll see." Tatsuo replied nonchalantly. "Anyway, I'm heading to the cafeteria. You guys coming?"

"Of course." Eijiro added. "After all those exercises, I worked up a pretty manly appetite."

"*Sigh* I guess there will be no cafe today." Mina said, slight disappointment in her tone.

"Don't worry about it." Akatsuki said while patting Mina on the shoulder. "We can go next time. We can invite more people, too."

With that, the group headed towards the cafeteria. When they arrived, the cafeteria was already filled with students and there were long lines leading to different stations that served different kinds of cuisine.

"They've got a lot of variety." Mina said, her excitement rising when she saw all the options.

"Alright, why don't we split up." Tatsuo suggested. "We can meet at a table after we've all gotten our food."

While most of the group nodded in agreement, Sakura turned to Tatsuo and made a counter suggestion.

"I'll go save a table for us." Sakura said with a sweet smile on her face. "Can you pick something up for me? You already know what kind of food I like."

"Sure, that works for me." Tatsuo replied with a shrug. "I'll be there soon."

With that, the group separated. While Sakura went to secure enough space for everyone to sit together, Tatsuo and the others headed into the line that led to the kind of food they wanted, with Tatsuo choosing Chinese cuisine. And to his surprise, Lunch Rush was manning the station he chose.

Lunch Rush was a short man, standing at about 5'3", wearing a white apron, gloves, shoes, and a chef's hat. He also wore a mask that covered his entire face with a tube connecting the mask to his back.

When Lunch Rush saw Tatsuo, although the young man could not see his expression through the mask, he felt as though the older man was smiling at him while he waited for Tatsuo to select a dish.

"Can I have two orders of braised pork belly?" Tatsuo asked politely. Though, there was a glint in his eyes.

And Lunch Rush was able to recognize that glint.

'A fellow chef, huh?' Lunch Rush thought to himself as he prepared Tatsuo's order with care.

Only a minute later, Tatsuo held a tray with two plates of braised pork belly with rice and a side dish.

"Thanks." Tatsuo said as he turned away from the lunch line.

In reply, Lunch Rush did not speak. Though, he did raise a thumbs up in Tatsuo's direction.

Making his way through the crowd of students, Tatsuo eventually found the table Sakura reserved. Being the first from his group to arrive, Tatsuo expected to only find Sakura sitting there. So, he was slightly surprised when he saw Izuku, Ochaco, Tenya, and Momo sitting at the table, as well.

"Oh, hey, Soramoto-Kun." Izuku said when he noticed Tatsuo approaching. "I hope you don't mind us joining you."

"Makes no difference to me." Tatsuo replied with a shrug as he set the tray down in front of the seat next to Sakura. "We're classmates. So, this makes it easier for us to get to know each other."

"Indeed." Tenya replied while adjusting his glasses. "It would be good for us to get to know each other since we will be classmates for the next three years."

Ochaco and Momo nodded in response when they heard that.

"You got lunch from the cafeteria, Soramoto-Kun?" Izuku, after noticing that Tatsuo took one of the plates on the tray for himself, asked curiously. "I thought you'd bring your own lunch."

"Why would he do that?" Ochaco asked curiously. "Lunch Rush is supposed to be one of the best chef's in Japan."

"That's true." Izuku replied. "But Soramoto-Kun and Static are incredible cooks, too."

"Static? You mean the Electromagnetic Hero: Static?" Tenya asked. "Why would you bring him up at this moment, Midoriya-Kun?"

"Because Soramoto-Kun is Static's, or rather, Alfonzo Marcus' younger cousin." Momo said, answering in place of Izuku.

"Really?" Ochaco asked in an impressed tone.

"Yeah." Tatsuo replied with a shrug. "He became my guardian after my parents were killed by villains."

The table fell silent after that. But Tatsuo did not let the silence last for long.

"Alright, sorry for bringing the mood down." Tatsuo said while shrugging once again. "But seriously, don't look at me with those pitiful looks. Although I can't say that it doesn't hurt to think about it. Life goes on and I'm still moving forward. And I know that's what my folks would want me to do. So, there's no reason to pity me."

Naturally, just because Tatsuo said so, it was not so easy for everyone to raise their moods to where they were. So, instead of dwelling on it, Tatsuo turned his attention to his food, and Sakura did the same.

Shortly afterwards, Akatsuki, Mina, Eijiro, Tsuyu, and Toru joined the table one by one. Luckily, Sakura was able to find a table with enough open seats to accommodate everyone. However, they were all curious to know why the atmosphere at the table was so awkward. But since no one said anything, they just sat down before turning to Tatsuo, who had already started eating.

"So, how is it?" Akatsuki asked.

"It's good." Tatsuo replied. "Very good."

"But?" Akatsuki asked, knowing there was more to it than that.

"No food-gasms." Sakura said, answering Akatsuki's question.

"Food-gasm?" Momo asked curiously.

Momo was not the only one who was confused by the term. So, just like Momo, they all looked at Sakura with curious gazes.

Those gazes made Sakura realize she had unintentionally said that out loud. As a result, her cheeks reddened rather fiercely. Then, instead of answering Momo's inquiry, she lowered her head and focused all her attention on the food in front of her.

Meanwhile, Akatsuki and Izuku nodded their heads in understanding. Though, Izuku, like Sakura began to blush. The memory of Akatsuki and Sakura moaning when they ate Tatsuo's and Alfonzo's cooking was a little too much for his fragile heart. And let's not get him started on the depraved sound he made when he tried their cooking for the first time, either.

As for the others, they remained confused without an explanation. And when Tatsuo noticed that, he looked up and briefly made eye contact with everyone.

"If you don't get it, you don't get it." Tatsuo said with yet another shrug before returning to his food.

"If you ever get to eat either Tatsuo-Kun's or Alfonzo-San's food, you'll understand." Akatsuki added helpfully.

That just made everyone who had never tasted Tatsuo's or Alfonzo's cooking more curious to try it. But since there was nothing they could do about it at the moment, they only exchanged glances before starting to eat their own food.

The rest of lunch went by quickly after that. While they ate, the group chatted about Mina's idea to go to a cafe after school one day. And everyone was on board with the idea. They also discussed extending the invitation to other students from their class.

However, after realizing that they basically wanted to invite the entire class, they decided that going somewhere like karaoke, where they were less likely to disturb other guests would be a better idea. But since that would be a much bigger thing, they decided to wait until the weekend to do that. They still needed to invite everyone, as well.

Eventually, the group left the cafeteria and made their way towards the campus' gate. Then, after saying their goodbyes, they all started heading home for the day.

"Alright, I'll see you guys later." Tatsuo said, bidding Akatsuki and Sakura farewell with a wave.

"See you tomorrow." Akatsuki said.

"Have a good evening." Sakura said politely.

Despite saying their goodbyes, all three knew they would be meeting up again later to discuss the upcoming events in this world. Especially all the things they might have to look out for with Aoyama in their class and knowing what their [Quirks] are.

Twenty minutes later, Tatsuo arrived at the building where he and Alfonzo lived. Then, after making his way up to the apartment space, he slashed his right hand through the air, his fingernails glowing in a blackish-purple hue. And as his arm swung down, the space was torn open. On the other side of the tear, he saw a narrow alleyway with Akatsuki and Sakura standing there.

"I don't know why we didn't just follow you back." Akatsuki said as she stepped through the tear. "I doubt there would have been any rumors like you were expecting.

"I'd rather have the rumors spread." Sakura muttered while following Akatsuki. "That way, all those girls would know you were mine."

"But I'm not yours." Tatsuo said bluntly. "Not yet, anyway."

When Sakura heard Tatsuo's initial response, her expression fell immediately. But when she heard Tatsuo's following words, it relaxed almost as quickly. Meanwhile, Akatsuki could not help but giggle after seeing Sakura's quick changes in expression. A moment later, however, she shook her head.

"I know you're not human, Tatsuo-Kun." Akatsuki said. "Still, the fact that you intend to have more than one girlfriend... Or even wife in the future is hard to come to terms with."

"*Sigh* I know." Tatsuo replied as he led the two girls towards the kitchen table. "I mean, I didn't even know I was anything more than human six months ago... That's six months ago if you exclude the [Missions], by the way. But ever since my bloodline awakened, I find myself wanting everything I see as a treasure for myself. And don't get me started on the lust that's becoming more and more unbearable every day... I swear, it's taking everything I have to not just jump someone and get my dick wet."

"*Sigh* I really didn't need to know about that last part." Akatsuki muttered while shaking her head. "But I am curious. Just why do you hold back so much? I mean, with your looks, I'm sure you could have just about any girl throwing themselves into your bed, right?"

Hearing that, Sakura's ears perked up, clearly interested in the topic.

"It's because Mom said I should wait." Tatsuo replied. "Something about my human and dragon essences not being in perfect harmony yet. Apparetnly, if I lose my virginity before they are synchronized, it could stunt my growth."

"Does that mean you're always fighting your instincts?" Akatsuki asked.

"Pretty much." Tatsuo replied with a shrug. "And it gets harder every day. Especially when I live with someone like Mai-Nee, who is always trying to seduce me. And don't get me started on the fact that she's always got her goods hanging out. *Sigh* She just makes life harder."

"That's probably not the only thing she makes hard." Sakura muttered under her breath as she glanced down at Tatsuo's crotch.

Akatsuki could only look at Sakura dumbfoundedly. She never expected the reserved girl sitting next to her to say something like that.

However, Sakura was neither as reserved nor as innocent as she seemed. When you consider what her adopted brother, Shinji, put her through, although unwanted, she had more sexual experience than most of the members of the [Dimensional Chat].

"Anyway, we're not here to talk about my sexual frustration." Tatsuo said, his tone turning solemn. "Instead, we're here to talk about the dangers we might have to face. Especially for you, Sakura."

"Me?" Sakura asked in a toen filled with disbelief.

"Because of [All for One], right?" Akatsuki asked.

"That's right." Tatsuo replied with a nod. "Because I have no doubt that information about our [Quirks] will make it to him by the end of the day. And we have Aoyama to thank for that."

"The one who pretends to be French, right?" Sakura asked.

"That's him." Tatsuo said. "He's a spy for All for One."

"You mentioned something about that before." Akatsuki said. "So, why haven't you just taken him out already? I mean, I'm sure you could do it without leaving any clues. At least if you're as good as you say you are, anyway."

"Oh, I definitely could." Tatsuo replied. "But I won't."

"Because he's being forced into it, right?" Sakura asked.

"That's right." Tatsuo said with a nod. "Although taking him out would be simple, I don't wanna kill someone who is being forced to betray. If he were doing it for his own gain, I would kill him in a heartbeat. But he's doing it to keep his family safe."

"But won't that just put you and Sakura in danger?" Akatsuki asked in a worried tone. "I Mean, I doubt All for One would be interested in my [Quirk]. But yours and Sakura's, especially yours, are probably really valuable for someone like him, right?"

"I'm not afraid of him." Tatsuo said firmly. "And it wouldn't be easy for him to take Sakura's [Quirk]. She should at least have enough time to contact someone. And if she does, I can be there in a second... As long as she isn't too far away, anyway. For now, at least."

"What do you mean?" Akatsuki asked, interest coloring her tone.

While Akatsuki was somewhat anxious about the situation they were in, Sakura completely trusted the one who saved her from her old life.

"Alfonzo and I are working on something that will let me get to either of you in an instant if you're in danger." Tatsuo replied. "And if it works, we'll make sure that everyone has one whenever we go on [Missions] from now on."

Hearing that, both Akatsuki and Sakura were both amazed and curious to see what kind of thing Tatsuo and Alfonzo were working on. Unfortunately, they would have to wait. Without being able to use magic, the process would take much longer than usual. Even so, both girls trusted that it would be ready before anything dangerous happened.

With that out of the way, the rest of the evening passed peacefully. After their talk about what was to come, Tatsuo, Akatsuki, and Sakura went up to the gym to train. Then, when Alfonzo got home from his patrol, they had dinner before Tatsuo tore open a couple of holes in space near the girls' homes and they left for the night.
